I feel sorry for Obama
These scandals must be taking a toll on the man.
Until they blow over, they are pretty much putting the kibosh on golfing with Tiger, or extended trips to Martha's Vineyard...much less Hawaii. After all, even Valarie Jarrett can't be THAT tone deaf. Chas |
Naw, he's going to be on the campaign trail like a bluetick hound until the mid terms, Chas.
|
I don't feel sorry for him, but I am amused by the hair-on-fire overreaching by the GOP. It'll come back to bite 'em in the ass, methinks. If they had the ability to focus on finding the truth in the 3 scandals without all the theatrics and Fox leading them around by the nose, they could benefit from this. They'll phuck it up - guaranteed. Stupid is as stupid does.

You need to get back to Glenn Beck, Rush and the 700 Club Chas....there is some low info voter intelligence being given out you might miss something.

He's barely had time to radically shrink the deficit. |

It couldn't have been the low info candidates on the Repub side spouting nonsense like the 47% comment that Romney made...;) or the self deporting comment which insured the "low info" Latino vote for generations for the Democrats.
Certain red state congressional candidates espousing the view that rape victims getting pregnant by their attackers should be forced to bear the child because it was god's will was a particularly odious one. That stink won't soon be forgotten by all of those "low info" women voters. Maybe all of the out of work "low info" voters who saw the sky high unemployment drop from well over 10% to under 8% weren't paying attention either? or all of those out of work "low info" autoworkers having their jobs saved by Obama? |

Sorry Was |
It takes a low info voter to believe LaPierre: Obama "Trying To Take Away" Your Guns.
|
In fact if all the GOPers self deported it would triple the national IQ. :p

It is not our fault that Tea Party and low information voters sort are interchangeable Mike. You can thank the birther movement for that.
Oh by the way Benghazi has died as a scandal. |

I don't feel sorry for him, either. He HAD to know it was going to be like this, when he signed on to run. I fully expected him to be despised and hated from the git-go.
But, the GOPs behavior has been ridiculous, IMHO. It's never a suprise when childish assholes behave like childish assholes. But, it's still annoying just the same. Republicans have just solidified my notion of what they are and can pretty much forget this one measly little vote forever. Dave |
These scandals hurt Obama yes...but they are going to hurt the Republicans even more in the long run. Once again they are narrowing their base. They are going so partisan that their response to the scandal seems worse than whatever supposedly happened.
Issa is an excellent example of exactly the wrong person to be given the chairman of the Oversight committee. No one will ever take him seriously, even if he was ever right on an issue. You need someone with integrity running these Congressional committees. With people lilke Issa and the chairman of the Ways and Means Committee making Tea Party commercials in their opening statements Obama may be dragged through the mud, but he won't be hurt in the long run. The GOP will. I remember Watergate....everyone was sad and angry at Nixon, not just the Democrats. |
