Well, I guess Obama didn't get the time to amass his marauding negro hordes the last time around, maybe he'll get to it this time?

I find it simply amazing ANYONE takes these clowns seriously. Where is the basis (In reality, that is.) for any of the exploding head insanity that comes from these total freaks?

Do these people really have their heads buried this deep in their own excressence?

Afraid so, H.L. Mencken was right.

d-ray657 08-23-2012 07:03 AM

I couldn't get the video to play on the other site, so I found it here. What I thought was particularly interesting was the way the interviewer was nodding his head in agreement and saying "uh huh" in response to the comments.

Notice the channel is a Fox affiliate, and the video is;

Preceded by an ad urging people to use their MEDICARE to pay for treatment at a LUXURY nursing home..............Damn Republicans are unbelieveable. "We hate soshialist programs and government funded healthcare........So, we used our Medicare to get a five star room with luxurious amenities at Crown Pointe!"

I swear......ya know....THIS is CONSERVATISM?

Texas judge readies for civil war!

You just cannot make this stuff up!

He needs a tax hike to prepare.

Honest, we need to start limiting who can vote so dolts like the ones on the far right cannot destroy our country with their witch craft, ignorance, low morals or magic book.

ebacon 08-23-2012 07:40 AM

Par for the course in the modern Republican ranks, unfortunately.

piece-itpete 08-23-2012 07:53 AM

Limit the vote? tsk, tsk tsk ;)

I think somewhere Jefferson is smiling over this :)

One of my sons-in-law is from Lubbock. Sadly, this doesn't surprise me at all.

I think we need to hive off The Republic of Texas (and maybe deport my son-in-law ;))

Meanwhile, in New Hampshire.......

As I said in the other thread about this, my son-in-law's from Lubbock. The judge is pretty typical of that town. Lyle Lovett, on the other hand........

Crazy doesn't seem to be a disqualifier in GOP circles. In fact, it seems very appealing to their base. You can bet that there are thousands of folks around there who nod there collective heads at this treasonous drivel. In today's GOP, moderation is the unforgivable sin.

d-ray657 08-23-2012 10:11 AM

I merged the two Judge Head threads, although there seems to be a never-ending number of lunatics who will provide us with plenty of material for new threads.

So if the woman comes to term despite warnings from her doctor that such an act will be fatal will the good sherriff execute the child for murder?

Why can't politicians stick to politics and leave the practice of medicine to those trained in the art? Recently the British denied a man's petition to permit him aisded suicide. Maybe if some of them spent some time in constant agony they might just think for a change.

What people do to or with their own bodies is no one else's damn business.

It is when they become so depraved they need to shove screwdrivers down their dicks to get a nut and then sue the screwdriver manufacturer when their junk gets tore up.

This guy is smart...I am assuming a lawyer who went to law school and passed the bar...although I know that is not always a requirement for an elected judge (?)...
anyway he knows some people will buy his story. This is what is exactly wrong with the GOP. Educated men acting like buffoons to get the non-college white vote.

A lot of the educated men aren't acting. They genuinely believe this crap. I learned that debating politics on the aviation board. Almost all of them were Republican doctors, lawyers, and small business owners. They are holed up with assault rifles and ammo and their knees are knocking. In the meantime they scream lower taxes, lower interest rates, lower, Lower, LOWER!

I have no respect for rich people anymore. Not a bit. They have a propensity to be just as dumb as anyone. Why workers think rich people should have even more money and a concomitant greater political voice just blows my mind. You have to think pretty little of yourself to let someone like el Rushbo lead you around by the reins.

I might be wrong, and I am too lazy to look it up, but I don't believe that this type of judge sits in court. It appears that he is essentially a county commissioner, holding a political office rather than an actual judicial one. In other words, I doubt that he is a lawyer, and without further evidence, I don't want to claim him.

Perhaps when the Tea Party consolidates their power said "judge" will be nominated for the Supreme Court as the first "non-judge" someday...you know that talk about how someday someone should appoint a non-judge to the Supreme Court...something Bush tried to do I think. If I was President Keith Oberman would be my Supreme Court nominee;)

ebacon 08-23-2012 02:16 PM

Here is the judge's official home page.

He is in charge of elections and emergency management among other things. It looks like he is trying to scare the locals into the voting booth.

Thanks ebacon...the scary part is he presides over mental competency hearings.....can you imagine being declared insane by him

icenine 08-23-2012 03:06 PM

The really brilliant part, and the thing that could make this theory completely true, is that Obama is waiting until AFTER the election to become dicator. Now that is thinking outside the evenlope.

piece-itpete 08-23-2012 03:06 PM

Believing secesh is the right way to go is crazy, but not insane :)

Or is it the other way around

ebacon 08-23-2012 03:20 PM

This whole Republican craziness would make more sense if they just did what they mean and started burning American flags. Maybe then Washington would get the message and figure out that brainwashing has stopped working.

piece-itpete 08-23-2012 03:24 PM

I have the proper response to burning flags.

Whatever Mr. Violence. ;)

In large part Republican voters want to lower taxes because they want to "starve the beast" to use their vernacular.

That is fine, but if you want the beast to know that you are angry with it then it would be best to let it know that you mean business. Burn its symbol -- the red, white and blue as codified at 4 USC 1. That's one of the many pages of laws you hate anyways.

Until that happens the beast won't get the message that it is too big. Instead it will think that all is well in Republican land so long as the American flag is flying in Washington DC.

Doesn't it seem more natural that a person that believes in a small federal government would put his state flag in higher priority than the federal government flag?

bobabode 08-23-2012 03:49 PM

Secession (Balkanization) kinda dovetails neatly into the "I built this" big lie being screeched by the Romneyites of late. Every time I hear it the only thing that comes to mind is Gepetto and his puppet and now it's THE Republicans war cry on the campaign trail? Dumb and dumber need to find a new tune before they completely marginalize their party.
I remember thinking to myself when Rayguns was running that there was no way he would be elected. Having seen how well he & Ed Meese governed in California it was an easy call but lo & behold we saw Saint Ronnie installed in the White House. Now we have Herman & Eddie Munster trying to do the same.

I can't wait for these turkeys opinions on foreign policy. If the best thing they've got is a venture (vulture) capitalist to run for President I hope the voters don't fall for this humongous dog & pony shoe that is the latest great white hope ploy.

The SC should be only Harvard and Yale graduates.

At this point it's way past starving the beast. It's going on a anorexic diet here soon enough regardless of what we do.

The only source I could find that this guy is not an actual lawyer is the Daily Koz. It also seemed to confirm that his real job is essentially that of a county commissioner. Yeah, I know, I know, relying on the Daily Koz to confirm my suppositions. Swing away.:p

He was a cop, not a lawyer.

I think he's vying for membership in the crackpot caucus.

merrylander 08-24-2012 10:32 AM

Well gentlemen and ladies, where are all the famous "checks and balances"? Seems like the checks are rubber and the balance is overdrawn.
