He ain't coming up roses with gays, Hispanics and the ladies either. I suppose suppressing/disenfranchising the vote is his best tactic.

I'm not surprised at all after the 2000 election debacle that was decided by 5 angry old white dudes. A big goose egg among blacks?? Wow.

So long as the election involves anything but the economy the Republicans are fighting an uphill battle. They can throw against the wall all the red meat 'disinformation' they like (the work requirement for welfare being allegedly lifted, for example) it won't accomplish much except fire up those who won't vote for Obama anyway.

And, the ones who believe whatever they hear, so long as it comes from Fox or Boss Limbaugh.

I listen to black radio fairly often (I like old rap, motown and r&b), usually on the way home from work (talk radio with tunes) and all I have to say is, the hip, the hop, the hippety hip hip hop and you don't stop rockin to the bang bang boogie said up jump the bogie to the rythm of the bogity beat.

I would never know that most black people are democrats. They say that if a Rep is elected the sky will fall. Sounds familiar... ;D

So no one noticed the teleprompters when Romney introdued Ryan as his veep choice? They all use them especially Mitt 'cause when he speaks off the cuff he usually make gaffs. Even with the teleprompter he still screwed up and called Ryan the next president.

Well the last repub pres sure was no prize.

I know 2 blue collar black guys who voted for Bush in 04. I don't blame black folks for voting for Obama.

I did hear an interview with an innercity elementary school teacher last spring, I don't rememeber but it was the kind of thing you occasionally hear on NPR. She said her kids say that Obama 'isn't like us', when she asked why it was because 'he doesn't talk like us'. She said this is common with black politicians. I thought it was interesting.

I don't think anyone thinks this election will be anything like the 2008 race. I can understand the concerns out there and who can blame anyone for them. However, attack ads are one thing; flat out lies are quite another.
