Ryan gets heckled and jeered at fair.

Same fair that Romney got heckled at last year. Ryan claims out of state agitaters.... Boo freakin' hoo, Ryan. Even a long time Republican working at the fair isn't voting for Herman and Eddie Munster. ;)

What a dipshit that guy is. Although it bugs the crap out of me when tea-bagging "activists" won't let Dems speak in public, part of me is glad to see someone not just rolling over and accepting this nutjob's radical worldview as "normal".

icenine 08-13-2012 07:31 PM

Looks like the women were just tossed out by the police.....there is a very good clip from the EdShow
tonight with Glenn Beck and Ryan....look it up

mezz 08-13-2012 07:38 PM

I think those women just thought he was hot and rushed the stage in a fit of Ryanmania. Used to happen to me on stage all of the time.

Twodogs 08-13-2012 08:12 PM

Heckling is boorish behavior on either side. A sign of the times I guess.

Delusions of grandeur again Mess?
Just wait until until your darling of the extreeeeeme far right meets up with Jumpin' Joe at the veep debates. It's going to be biblical in that Ryan's going to face some old testamant wrath embodied in Joe Biden and impassioned by all of the citizens facing destitution and the broken contract of Medicare and gutting of Medicaid that the Ryan/Romney ticket promise to us.

Before you claim that no one gets your sense of humor, understand that the issues and Ryan's plans for America are no laughing matter. If you think that taking America back to the Gilded Age is a good thing, you are more out of touch than anyone on this board could have imagined.:p

Are you kidding? Joe Biden is a serious contender for the dumbest VP to ever sit. I'm pretty sure I'm actually going to feel a little bit sorry for him during the VP debate.

icenine 08-13-2012 08:29 PM

Bobs right Mezz...although your attempt at humor is sort of refreshing. The future of Medicare to paraphrase Mr. Biden, "is a big F***ing Deal".......

I guess it is. That might be why Obama's idea of doing nothing when it's predicted to implode in a decade or so might not be so good for the country.

Ryan will rip him a new one. Obama's people have got to be shitting their pants over the VP debate. I'm guessing good ol' Joe may even come down with a mysterious illness just prior to the debate... something that lasts until the second week of November.

Zeke 08-13-2012 08:41 PM

I think you might be underestimating Biden.

I think he's based a career in people doing that.

I'll give Ryan one thing, at least he stepped out in front of a crowd that wasn't carefully selected and screened by the Ryan/Romney campaign handlers. Unlike Romney who is such a chickshit that he, lately, won't put himself in any situation where people would boo his sorry ass or ask a hard question that wasn't carefully crafted by his staff.

I agree that heckling is boorish behaviour but people who can't get anywhere near this guy (Romney) to ask any questions of him are feeling shut out of the process. We are seeing frustration on the part of voters in this Jay. I don't see hard questions tossed from the audience at a candidate as heckling when this guy (Romney) won't even sit down with the corporate controlled, lamestream press corp and answer questions. Heaven forbid that Romney or Ryan sit down with a highly respected journalist say from PBS.;)

He has been the co-anchor and then anchor of NPR's evening news for damn near 40 years and you just heard of him today? He has also moderated quite a few presidential debates over the years. I guess you missed those. Football nights?

John

And that's the level of well-rounded political exposure (none) to be found in your typical, sphincter-quiveringly fearful, chickenhawk right winger.

>35 years.

I can't recall the last time I was so embarrassed for someone...

Can I get a face palm smiley?

He was stoned through most of those years. Remember all the stories about the doper days?

Your girlfriend, TwoDogs. Whom I'm certian will be along any minute to exhibit his amnesia problem, just as he did when we reminded him of his past racist proclaimations.

You speaking for liberals now?

piece-itpete 08-14-2012 09:03 AM

Absolutely. Goes something like, 'we're way richer than you but we speak for the poor while we blame Bush for tax cuts we extend and enjoy' :)
