Interesting article: The Racist Truth About Beck and Limbaugh
I check in at Rasmussen most days. I find it a slightly right leaning take on things, but it gives me a good gauge of what they're trying to push as an agenda. They have a clever way of tracking the President's approval that makes it a negative number even though he’s far more popular than the last Chief. I get a good laugh from the commentary often posted from former coke head turned financial expert Larry Kudlow. You know you're leaning right when he's presented as "the voice of reason".
So I was somewhat surprised this morning to find this: http://www.rasmussenreports.com/publ...k_and_limbaugh Interesting stuff. Take care, Ed |
I googled a bit to see if the "Black Guy" thing was true. Boy, did I find stuff. I saw Beck on CBS and actually thought "he seems kind of reasonable" but wondered if it was an act. Seems maybe his whole life is an act. And not a very good one.
http://www.salon.com/news/feature/20...two/index.html "A couple days after Kelly's wife, Terry, had a miscarriage, Beck called her live on the air and says, 'We hear you had a miscarriage,' " remembers Brad Miller, a former Y95 DJ and Clear Channel programmer. "When Terry said, 'Yes,' Beck proceeded to joke about how Bruce [Kelly] apparently can't do anything right -- about he can't even have a baby." |
I couldn't read the second one for all the pop ups, but I found it odd that the first one didn't mention Carter at all.;)
|
You should really give the second one a try. I don't know what to say about it except I really don't want this guy infecting my mind. What an ass hole.

We all seem really quick to forgive the people we agree with.
He made a joke out of a woman's miscarrage. On the air. Ambushed a woman on live radio who had just been through that. Digest that idea for a minute. Disgusting. But carry on with your witty banter. Oh, it's okay because he found Jesus now! That's what that creap in CA who abducted that girl and kept her in his back yard for 18 years said. Should we just let him go too? I mean, it's in the past and he makes no bones about it! Maybe we should give him a radio show and put him on Fox News. |
I saw an interesting quote that I think speaks to Glenn Beck and the statements he has made in the past.
Character is higher than intellect. A great soul will be strong to live as well to think--Emerson |

I mean, they want the Fairness Doctrine back, right? Gotta make room for all viewpoints... |
See, what happened was the woman had a miscarriage. And Beck said "hey, wouldn't it be a funny joke if we ambushed her on the air and made fun of her husband!?" Great joke Glenn. Yuck, yuck. So tell me again why I should take anything you say seriously? Ever? No chance this is just your latest gag on the listeners? No chance at all? Noooooh. He wouldn't go *that* far. Well, maybe he would. Congrats Glenn. Best gag ever.
