Newt takes South Carolina???

Well, go figure. NYT just said that Newt took it. The old whoremonger ain't totally dead yet.

I guess he'll celebrate with a hooker. :D

Romney's gonna win, but Newt will weaken him however necessary to fulfill his narcissistic needs. This should prove interesting.

You guys just don't get it, but you aren't supposed to.

I don't know why I find this smile discomforting.

Opposition research on this clown will be child's play.

Bigerik 01-21-2012 08:49 PM

Best thing that could happen to Obama. The champagne corks are a popping at the White House tonight.

I do have to admit that he hit a home run on the open marriage question in the debate. He was ready to hit and the moderator teed it up for him. It is astute politicking to convert a weakness into a strength, and he turned that damaging question into fodder for his attack on the media elite.

I expect that questioners in Fla. will follow up on how that story squares with his bogus haranguing on how gay marriage will corrupt the sanctity of marriage, and his former political grandstanding on the Monica Lewinsky scandal.

Regards,

D-Ray

Jay, can you expand on what we don't get?

Oerets 01-21-2012 10:02 PM

I was hearing on NPR this might go to the convention before a candidate is decided.

That could be bloody and empty the GOP coffers somewhat. Might make some of the 1%'er dig down deeper in their pockets.

The only problem with that is the pockets are magically replenished by the Federal Reserve via the super pacs major contributors. GE and a host of others.
They probably claim a loss on the books and garner a tax write off. What's that quintuple dipping?

That Republicans love pompous, self-righteous asshats like Newt?

We figured that out years ago.

True, but as for SC it might just be when given a choices they had to choose from they more just couldn't vote for Romney.

Just recently brought up locally... about Vince Foster and Hillary Clinton. Remember that? An uproar occured in the press at just the mention of the possibility and it fell life a deflated balloon. Times have sure changed...or are we focusing on elephants instead of donkeys? ;)

This just showed us what we can expect from most of the south. I'm curious who the large Jewish population in Florida will support.
