If I'm a Racist
how come I like this guy? http://nalert.blogspot.com/2009/07/w...r-manning.html I saw some of his comentary during the campaign as well. Powerfull speaker.
|
he is a powerful speaker but just like martin luther king i dont trust him. why is it that blacks speak with street slang and street diction. i think they would do better to adopt a more educated way of expressing themselves. that being said there may be some truth to what he says but i dont think it will be the whites starting anything. i would say the ileagals in america that will finaly start a problem

Why does Palin speak like a hillbilly?
i think she would do better to adopt a more educated way of expressing herself |

Can we put him into a position behind the Golden EIB microphone? :D
I like him, finally someone to tell the truth. |
I"m not sure but I don't believe he likes his President all that well.
|
I'd bet he doesn't get invited to the back yard for a beer either.

I admire you TD, you tread where others fear to go. Chas |
I reckon while I'm asking questions, who the hell is Larry Sinclair? O'Rielly's never mentioned him.

That's the name of the game...pull your head out of your ass. Chas PS: No one wants to see things go South, but they do have concerns. Someone has to produce the "wealth". Someone has to produce the "widget". We can't all be regulators, and parasites. Keynesian economics or not. BTW, a can of pork and beans is "wealth". A bullshit spouting politician doesn't produce "wealth", he consumes it...and more than his fair share. Correct me if I'm wrong. Chas |
I heard a economist the other day comparing the US economy to a pond. You take water out of one side of the pond and pour it in the other side, you still have the same amount of water in the pond. I guess that's why some radical right wing extremists call it re-distribution. I'm just wondering how big the shit that hits the fan will be. Will it be like the race riots of the 60s, or much worse? Will the fight be carried to Washington, or break out in every city? How many in law enforcement and or armed services will switch to the side of the people when the gun pointing begins? I know every cop in my town and I can't imagine any one of them shooting me, or me them. Maybe everything will just blow over, but what if it don't? Will Russia, or other countries try to hit us when we're down? I dunno, but I do know that I have a good woman who shoots better than me, 3 good hounds, and a whole lot of timber that I know like the back of my hand. It's high ground too, with two good creeks and lots of game. Hmmmm?

whats the deal with the revolution?
if the poor are not starving and dieing we need to revolt? |
I think it will be more about taking our country back from the politicians. People are being taxed to death, and there is little freedom left. Believe it or not, some people don't like being told they have to wear a seat-belt, or can't allow patrons in their bar to smoke. Think about it, we are anything but free these days. All of our freedoms have been sacrificed for the "common good". I hear from folks in the know, that the foreclosures haven't even really started yet. Housing bubble? Credit card bubble? I think the whole thing is a house of cards, and when it collapses, people are going to point fingers. As an example; I wouldn't give a bucket of horse piss for Bawny Fwanks future right now.
|
I do agree that the country needs a political cleansing. That does not mean that I feel it is necessary to take to the streets.
As far as your personal freedoms go, I think you would be hard pressed to make a case against, "the common good". |

They say it can't happen here, or again, but it has before. Hell, it's been happening every since the earth cooled. And this is the last thing I want to see. It would be nice if everyone were to pull the sharp stick out of the other guy's eye, and develop a rapport. This forum is like the rest of them. People stirring up shit, behaving as intellectuals, considering those who disagree with them as uninformed or rubes. Personally, I don't think the average bear is this stupid. Maybe not ellequent, but far from stupid. I'll go so far as to say one thing. I don't want to see the current political situation develop into a revolution, or a 2nd civil war. Goddamn people, you think this is gonna be fun? Get your fucking heads out of your goddamn asses. It's going to be so brutal that you can't imagine the likes of what's gonna happen next. That said...it's the nature of the beast. If it all goes South, I'm staying as far from it as I can. And I'll have a real case of the ass if I have to get involved. This ain't my bag. Course, I don't like bein' robbed, either. Think about it, ain't we better off trying to get along? Chas |
No. We'd be much better off if we DID or COULD get along. That just isn't gonna happen with these clowns in power, nor the last clowns that had power. You can only squeeze so much juice out of an orange before it collapses, same with working folks and taxes in my eyes.
I think the quickest way to get over this hill is to ban all lobbying. Guess who would be the first folks running away from all this mess? That's right, those greedy bastards in D.C. |

Add to that, any politician or media who calls themselves news that tells provable lies should do serious jail time. Freedom of speech and intentionally providing misinformation are not the same thing. |

these two events end the war at least in the global sense.
china begins admin. of former us states west of the rocky moutains.europe and china are now the only superpowers. the remains of the federal government restabilish themselves in the east. the six states have maintaind thier borders on jan 15/10 federal troops atempt to cross the missisippi and enter missouri. another 150,000 souls fall in the battle of st louis. the six states are supported by europe and china they are granted independence because of the resources they contain and the food they can produce. feb 21 the six states treaty is signed by the new eastern government. china and europe pour aid into north and south america. march 1/10 the six states convien the first of several coventions to biuld a new nation they will adopt a world currency, and join a new world economy. and after a time there will be a better world my point is that to have a real revolution we mst be willing to risk this im not saying i want this or that i dont. this is simply a food for thought thing thank you all for your paitence sorry about my typing |

Shooting from the hip, huh? The reason I asked is because I did some extensive work for a retired Army Major, and he was telling me of a book he had read which claimed the US would split into six separate States, the best I can remember. Now this fellow is a conservative, but well educated, and pretty damn smart. He also has an extensive library, and he's not the type to read "The Turner Diaries". Whatever book he was quoting was written by someone of consequence. And whatever he was reading had a similar plot to your piece. I thought perhaps it was the same book. The Major is very open minded, and a military history buff, but not a "kook" by anyone's standards. Chas |
ive read the turner diaries and understand them in a way but i would never be an advocate of the kind of destruction that book calls for i just thought this might be interesting to discuss the wold is so interconeted if th us fell apart i think the whole place would go up
thank you for your response |

I was in pretty good shape, have a NG wall furnace for a backup, runs without electricity. Besides, I have a 8,000 watt generator, only problem is buying gas for it, can't pump it without power. Plus propane camping stoves, lanterns, etc. I was getting close to firing up the generator, stringing Romex to the two neighbors I liked, (would have even done it for the asshole I don't like, had he asked), hot wiring their furnaces and running cords to their fridges, but the juice came back on. Had everyone been without power everywhere, and the stores only stock app three days provisions, after a couple of weeks things would get ugly. Modern society is living on the edge. Chas |
