The suspect in Friday’s bomb and shooting attacks was described as a gun-loving, highly religious Norwegian obsessed with what he saw as the threat of multiculturalism and Muslim immigration to the cultural and patriotic values of his country.

Do such fanatics need a reason to kill people? I do not think so. I believe these people have an inordinate desire to kill. The cause.....ideology is secondary.

the person may be predisposed to be fearful but how it is channeled depends on his exposures his course of action

I personally believe it's only a matter of time. I can imagine if the debt ceiling gets raised, PPACA isn't repealed or Obama manages to get re-elected that some nitwit will decide it's his duty to God and Country to start killing people. Doesn't take much of a leap to see that.

I'm still amused by the silence coming from the anti-Muslim crowd. Before it was revealed who he was, all the Norwegian patriots were all over the news going on about how Norway had been too lax on extremist Muslims. Now the argument could be made that Norway has neglected to sufficiently infiltrate and spy on Norwegian nationalists.

Perhaps the shooter ate too much Lutefisk and the lye affected his brain???

Sounds like a GOP House Member to me.

Define "armed". The armless would have a very hard time trying to resist, having to vote with their toes and all. So, when a wingnut tells you "armed resistance", he's really referring to all non-amputee True Patriots showing up at the polls to vote with their fingers....something the armless Real Americans struggle to do.

At least that would be Sarahs spin on what "armed resistance" really means.:p

Funnily enough, this could be one of the points he was trying to make.

This is a very carefully planned mass murder and I dont think the media has yet fully grasped a proper hold on that idea.
All you have to do is look at the photos of him in the media - I have no doubt that he intended every single one of them to appear.

Its easy to simply brand this guy a "loon" but you have got to admit that he, in some ways, is a very intelligent man. Give credit where credits due.

Shot while resisting arrest?
 

Manipulative maybe; knows how to get attention but intelligent? I don't think so. In the U.K. he'd almost certainly be "shot while resisting arrest".

Evil genius, Karl. There have been many examples throughout history. Smart, but evil nonetheless. Think of the 9/11 attacks and all of the damage done. We are still reeling today, if you think about it. All done at a relatively tiny financial expenditure. The people who dreamed that horrific incident up may have been evil bastards, but by no means stupid.
