about these reporters, when I was a kid and I disobeyed my parents they would get me out of hot water but then punish me. What say these two reporters pay back the government all the expenses incurred for their release?

I totally misunderstood the nature of his visit, thought he went to discuss N. Korea's nuclear program. I wasn't following this.

However it played out, he has returned with the journalists, which is a positive thing.

I had not read that that was in dispute. I was under the belief that they knowingly went into NK to do a story. :confused:

I think the only one who will ever know if they crossed over or not is them. And I don't expect them to ever fess up if they did.

Some rich dude in Hollywood provided the jet and the fuel. According to the girls story it was NK who told them that they would be allowed to leave if Clinton came to get them. All of this convinces me more than ever that they were grabbed for just this reason and were most likely still on the Chinese side of the border. I trust the Chinese about as much as I trust that little fart Kim Il.
