Gingrich cries foul over Obama's NCAA tournament picks

Newt thinks the president should be focused on Libya and cheating on Michele the way Newt did with his wives.

d-ray657 03-18-2011 01:44 PM

Newt must have had a bad first round - that or he didn't like Georgia's seeding.

Petty jackoff. He must be a Republican running for president.....................

Dave

merrylander 03-18-2011 02:12 PM

And he is full of it to begin with, it was the US (Susan Rice) that got some of the wider latitude language into the Resolution, otherwise it would have simply been a no fly zone deal.

Well, I'm guess I'm glad at least one member of the Administration seems to be paying attention to something...

Oh right, I am quite sure she did this without consulting the President.:p

Charles 03-18-2011 02:53 PM

I thought the conventional wisdom was to stay out of Libya.

Chas

merrylander 03-18-2011 03:06 PM

Stay out as far as boots on the ground goes, not to say we can't take out a few tanks and such.

piece-itpete 03-18-2011 03:14 PM

Anything resembling surface to air weaponry, in towns/cities or not.

Pete

finnbow 03-18-2011 03:16 PM

Unfortunately, the only way that the attention-seeking Newt can get any attention in times like these is to spout of some totally ridiculous nonsense. As smart as he purportedly is, I'm still not sure he's any smarter than Sarah.

Heard what sounded like a couple of B2's earlier in the week. Maybe they're being repositioned closer.

Apparently, picking a fight with a "lesser" middle-eastern or N African nation is bad, unless a Dem administration does it.

Oh, and if you can do it without getting your hands too dirty, I guess that's OK too. We just don't want to be construed as the "World's Policeman" by those who might not like it.

maybe it's just bad no matter who is president?

Since I was stupid enough to open this can of worms, I'll respond.

It does appear that the approaching electoral storm of 2012 has altered the prevailing political winds.

And now I find myself suddenly depressed. I think I need some time off.

You're learning. See, you just deny the opposition credit for anything and paint everything they do as "evil". It's a trick we learned from---------Karl Rove.:p

So long as you're smiling, wearing your flag lapel pin and invoking the name of our lord and saviour, Ronald Reagan, the gullible boneheads sitting in front of their telescreens will eat it up and beg for more.

Ya know, you look at Newt, and think that he has seduced two younger women - then you realize that power is an amazing aphrodisiac.

Yeah, but he's a fat, disgusting, drug-addicted blow hard that gets $50,000,000 a year to sit on his lazy ass and flap his waddle at a microphone. Mostly bitching about people who (allegedly) get paid exorbitantly to sit on their asses.

So, it's okay.

Bush?

After all, he did lie about WMDs. But going to war for bogus reasons is a much lesser offense than lying about a friggin' blowjob. That is what your getting at isn't it?

Oh, that's right, he's a "Born Again Christian" and therefore incapable of being full of shit. Right?

depends on the meaning of "it" :D

For the record I have as much disdain for Carville as I do for Rove.

A low life liar is a low life liar no matter what animal group he herds with

+1! Carville looks like a he popped out of a UFO, and I don't think I've understood a single fu**ing point he's ever tried to make. And then there's that bi**h wife of his...............

Correct.

And when the lard, cigars, sloth and dope finally kill that blabbering a**hole, which can't happen soon enough, she will be set for life.

All three. Take your pick. I find Limbaugh to be the worst of them.

Agree with them or not, at least Moore and Gore have actually done something besides sitting on their asses and spewing lies to anyone dumb enough to listen. Moore has attemted to expose the gross inefficiencies in our health care system, the fraudulent criminals in our banks, and the lies that got us involved in an 8-year long tragic and totally unneccesary war that has killed hundreds of thousands of people. Were all of his methods pure? No. Were all of his facts 100% accurate? No. But the message has proven to be correct and I'll take his track record over Limbaugh's every time.

merrylander 03-20-2011 09:21 AM

Getting back to Newt, I found something to agree with David Brooks about, in a recent interview he said "I would not let Gingrich run a 7-eleven, never mind a country."

You know, even though I regard Moore as being inches away from being a Communist and definitely think he's a hypocrite, I'd have to agree with this. Probably why I've seen all of his movies, despite the fact that I think he goes too far.

The scene where he passes out military recruitment literature to members of congress is priceless. "Excuse me, senator are your kids over eighteen? Maybe they'd be interested in joining the Marines and spending some time in Iraq?------Senator?-----Thank you for ignoring me, Sir."

And when he's leaning over the constitution and says; "That's funny, I can't find the word capitalism here anywhere. It does say the government should promote the general welfare, though."

"Are you aware that thousands of people are being thrown out of their homes in Flint and Detroit this Christmas, sir?
You did that. Thank you, and a Merry Christmas to you, sir."

Dave
