Let's have a beer!!!
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009...se-early-week/
IMHO, nothing but a photo op, and a ruse. The only way you could get me to go to something like this would be to drag me there in chains. Chas |
It's symbolic.

What a bunch of BS. These idiots can't even get the problem correct.
"Obama will try to broker the peace between Crowley, whose supporters say he was unfairly maligned by the president's comments for doing his job, and Gates, whose backers say he was a victim of racial profiling." Seems to me that problem was over and done before the President opened his rather large trap and immediately stuck his foot in there. That would leave the larger problem between Obama and the Cambridge officer. |

Perhaps damage control is the operative term. Chas BTW, ain't we got bigger fish to fry? Damn media loves crapola like this...saves them from the difficult work of being a true journalist. |
I would give my best Hi-Fi amp if Obama would invite me for a beer. It would be worth it just to tell him to kiss my white ass.:D

Figger I could run things just as well out of an old shed here in Missouri, with none of the bullshit. Besides, I figger I'd get a pass for havin' some of my old buddies hangin' around makin' corn squezzin'. Chas "Once two strangers climbed ol' Rocky Top, lookin' fer a moonshine still. Strangers ain't come back from Rocky Top, reckon they never will." |
Corn won't grow at all on Rocky Top
dirt's too rocky by far That's why all the folks on Rocky Top get their corn from a jar. |
I would love to be invited to the White House.

Not from me.

I read this today, and thought what a bunch of Bull Crap.
The Cop tries to do his job, the guy becomes un-cooperative according to the police tapes, gets cuffed, and cries it was a race related bust! I wonder if he called Al Sharpton or his Attorney with his one phone call. The whole thing is utter BS. I am not a cop, but they see a lot of crazy people everyday who at first seem normal only to go postal on them. You know what, if your innocent and the cop asks you to do something just do it and say yes sir, and thank you sir. That way even if you get cuffed, it will be much easier in the end, and you might even get an apology. Then our Pres has to make a stupid comment, and the whole thing gets blown out of proportion, again. There is no way if I were the cop, or the professor, that I would go to the White House for a beer. It just serves to continue the media frenzy over this whole incident. Anyway if your going to invite me to the White House you could at least offer me some expensive wine, not a can of Bud. :D My 2 cents. |
Well there goes the 4th Ammendment, welcome to the police state.
