You're an ass, and I'll not waste any time taking your poll. Still blame all of your dismal failures on everyone but yourself?

1. Screw your poll.
2. A more revealing question would poll what everyone thinks of YOU.

finnbow 02-01-2011 09:08 AM

I'm quite sure that Obama's administration will improve things for everyone in the country except for the indigent and the ignorant. I guess you're screwed, Rob.

piece-itpete 02-01-2011 09:12 AM

A bum? No. A master manipulator? Yes.

Because the other party ran a clueless dolt and a crazy woman. BTW, he's neither Muslim nor Marxist.

piece-itpete 02-02-2011 08:38 AM

But he is Libyan :D

He may not be a marxist, but he sure hung out with some folks with interesting views.

Palin might be a bit of fluff, but McCain isn't a clueless dolt!

I'd agree that until about 3-4 years ago, he was both bright and respectable. As soon as he started running for President, it seemed like he drilled a hole in the side of his head and dumped out half his brains (it seemed necessary to appeal to his base;)).

He completely lost me during his campaign when on the day of Lehmann Bros.' collapse and a huge stock market implosion, he proclaimed "the fundamentals of our economy are strong." His selection of Sarah as a running mate (once it became clear what she was all about) sealed the deal for me.

Palinphobe in-training. Noone hasn't given me my official merit badge yet.:D

noonereal 02-02-2011 08:52 AM

there is no option in your poll for me

I do not think he is a bum or a great leader but I am not on the fence about his performance.

I find him an inept legislator, (yes technically he is not a legislator) a very good diplomat and a fair administrator.

He's no Hillary. (BTW I used to hate Hillary as much as you radicals hate pelosi now)

finnbow 02-02-2011 09:00 AM

To the OP's question, I guess it depends if I grade absolutely or on a curve. On a absolute basis, I agree with Noone for the most part, although I'd give him more credit as a legislator (his big initiatives have passed, for better or worse).

On a curve (and in comparison with his immediate predecessor or even his opponent in the last election), he'd get a solid A-/B+.

Well, with all of the tension in N. Africa coming to a head very soon, we'll get a chance to find out, won't we.

Noon's slipping.

He's even removed his holier than thou anti-Palin slur from the bottom of his posts.

It may fall to you to advance the colors.

McCain sold his sole as it were in his failed attempt to be President.

After nominations I was leaning toward him. By election day I had lost ALL respect for him.

The one area in which I acknowledge that McCain bested Obama during the '08 campaign was in their appearance at a dinner in New York. They were both expected to tell some jokes, and McCain had better comic timing than Obama. So yeah, he is funny.

D, very nice of you :D

Seriously, I think part of the reason Obama get more than his fair share of vitriol is that he seems very standoffish, even if it's not totally fair.

My. Fellow Americans. This. Matter That Confronts Us. Is. Very Serious. lol

Although he did much better on the SOTU.

A Muslim A Hole who belongs to a radical Black Christian church. If there's a religious derision to attach to him, he belongs to it! He belongs to them all!

How can a single poster manage to show such a profound lack of intellect, across two sites, with such consistency, across multiple threads? :p

I'm not sure, but at least it's refreshing to see 8 out of 10 of us so far are in agreement.

The problem with Obama is no one knows what he is or isn't. He appears not to be either a "good" Muslim or a "good" Christian. Spending as much time as he did in Wright's church without knowing that Wright is a radical, says much about Obama's acuity. I can't think of a logical reason why someone with political ambition would associate with organizations that routinely espouse radical thought like Wright's church.

That's something I could care less about.

How about GOP politicians who go on Limbaugh, Hannity or Beck? Those clowns are every bit as radical as Rev. Wright, and even more influential.

Charles 02-27-2011 05:44 PM

Being the simple minded sort, I'll give my simple minded opinion. Which will validate just how simple minded I am, for even wasting my time in offering an opinion in the 1st place.

BO won the election, and he's the president. I didn't vote for him, but enough people did, so it doesn't matter how I voted.

He could do better, he could do worse. It ain't like he's ACTUALLY running the country.

And if the nation is saved, or falls, it won't be him who makes the difference. Not at this point.

Chas
