Is it thought that great horned owl had been listening to Sarah Palin?

Maybe the owl was even related. She does wear horn-rimmed glasses sometimes I think (those should probably be banned).

Yeah, this is making more sense now.

Right Winged great horned owl listens to Palin, then attacks Mexican Chihuahua.

Oh, the humanity!

Tea Bagger...no doubt.

It's nice that you guys have found soul brothers.:p

Even though owls are purported to have excellent eyesight, I can see it having trouble distinguishing between a rat and a chihuahua. Owls are predators and small animals look like prey. I'm glad the family did not lose its dog, but I don't blame the bird.

D-Ray

Oh please! You hate that Nazi bird and you know it. Don't be all PC (sorry...I meant civil) and deprive yourself of free speech.

Yes, I get what you're trying to say, Mexican Chihuahua, rat, whatever. That bird was an evil racist.

That right wing bird needs sensitivity training!

The birds of prey survive by their instincts - which lead them to kill and eat - but they only kill to eat. That might make them more civilized than us.

I was sitting out on my front porch drinking beer one sunny afternoon, when I noticed my neighbors cat strolling across the street. Just as I was thinking about how much I hated that little a-hole for leaving paw prints all over my car, a red tailed hawk swooped down and snatched him.

As I watched the bird carry his ass off, I thought; "Well I'll be damned, God does answer prayers."

LMAO!

Here we had one of our hawks try to carry off a duck! It didn't get very far. That was one pissed off duck.

Remember one time I saw a hawk go by with a sparrow perched on it's shoulder blades and pecking it on it's head.

That was one irate sparrow!!!

It was supposed to be a Siberian Husky, only I wonder if it didn't have some Malmute or wolf in it's history, as it weighed 80 lbs, which is quite a bit bigger than even the males are supposed to get. Not to mention the heavy red coat.

Really miss the old hound.

Why would he do that? Is you assumption that he would "blame the bird" another one of your lame attempts at stereotyping? Did d-ray just upset your applecart by not remaining in the box you think he belongs in?

I hope you realize that your statement is not only a personal insult to owls, but has enraged rat owners everywhere.

I used to worry when the kittens were small because there is a red tailled hawk in the area. Now that they are grown I doubt the hawk could pick them up. And if the mother cat was nearby it would be like Mark Twain once said "Any man who has an angry cat by the tail would be getting more education than his mind could possibly absorb."
