Howard Stern on Sarah Palin

http://yesbuthowever.com/stern-gets-nasty-5000245/

Howard gets nasty.

JJIII 01-15-2011 03:37 PM

Howard has been nasty for a long time.

BlueStreak 01-15-2011 03:53 PM

Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha....................
What ever does her more damage is fine with me.

Actually, to be fair, Howard goes over the top and does more harm than good all too often.
Stuff like this might help that Alaskan coward.

However, he didn't say much here that I haven't thought myself.

Cant stand Howard or that woman.

CarlV 01-15-2011 06:23 PM

Howard Stern? Where did that barf smiley go?

When my wife makes ox-tail soup she has to "clarify" the broth. All the crud rises to the top so you strain it off. Guess life works much the same way.

No, and when she started ox-tails were considered dog food. Once the people in the meat department found out what she was doing with them the price quadrupled.

Speaking of prices her BP medication that started at $300 for 90 tablets in 2005 has now reached $600 for 90 tablets.

why?????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There are so many extremely effective ones available!!!!

(I feel like an expert with blood pressure pills :()

I will say that some that I have been prescribed are either hard to get or no longer in production. Can you imagine? they take them out of production because they are not as profitable as newer more ones that are less effective and whose side effects are not known?

Unbridled capitalism is a terrible form of commerce for the masses.

merrylander 01-16-2011 10:13 AM

She had gone through most of the widely available ones and was still hitting 220/135 on occasion. This Novertis Lotrel has her at 125/65 or lower. It saved her life but I still hope they choke on their profits.

Wow, I frequent many medical boards for hypertension and have never heard of pressures that high besides my own. My "record" was 240/190 (ICU for 48 hours).

Still I find the best results are from simple diuretics. Unfortunately I have been taken off them as I have chronic acute gout which leaves me a crutches several times a year still!

Yeah, at those pressures I'd pay what ever I had to so I could control it.
Do they have any theories as to why it is so high?

merrylander 01-16-2011 02:23 PM

Nope, and recently she had a finger joint swell up with gout. At least the medication for lowering the uric acid in her blood is cheap and seems to be effective. My sympaties those damned uric acid crystals are like needles.

When you think about it, Howard Stern and Sarah Palin are similar in many ways. They both revel in controversy - as long as they are controlling the dialogue; they are both on the fringe; they both have a devoted, yet shrinking, group of fans; and neither one will ever become president. They deserve each other.

D-Ray
