It will be interesting to see how someone untainted by previous political 'experience' handles being a Senator. Never could wrap my mind around how political affiliation is noted for everything from dog catcher or school board on up. I guess it is because I grew up in a parliamentary system.

That is a pet peeve of mine. Why is everyone a liberal or a con?

Few remember that Jeff Sessions was voted down as an associate justice because of racist remarks, then he suggests that Judge Sotomajor might be racist.
