In a nut shell my thoughts are he made claims left and right about being bipartisan to get elected. Just like any other politician hes a lying sack of shit.

Well, he has been reaching across the isle...to slap the Republicans up side of the head.

He won't have to reach as far to slap the moderate Democrats.

I didn't see the clip, just read about it. Back when I was young, and could see, I could kill 'em with a 28 oz Vaughan rigging axe...but there was a trick to it.

He clearly made an effort to reach across the aisle. If you are asking did he scrap his agenda or compromise his ideals the answer is no. I guess it depends on what you take bipartisan to mean? He gave the GOP plenty of pork in the bailout bill. I think we all agree a bad thing.
