Hunter Indicted For False Statement On Firearms Application
Hoo boy. These GQPers must really have a bad hand going into the 2024 election.

Can you imagine how Trump and the GOP would have reacted if DJTJr would have been indicted for exactly the same crimes during the Dotard presidency (which he has likely committed considering how coked up he often appears)? FWIW, the SCOTUS may have already eviscerated this case before it even goes to trial. https://newrepublic.com/post/175433/...g-hunter-biden |
O. M. G!!!!
Thank the gods!!!! Next thing you know, the sitting presidents son will be holed up in a couple of upper story Las Vegas hotel rooms with a bumpstocked tactical weapons arsenal waiting for a street concert crowd to assemble. Another win for the supporters of an extremist radical interpretation of the second amendment. I am soooooo relieved he's been endicted! |

Fucking hypocrites giving HB "special treatment" atypical proscecution for a common violation of firearms purchase regulations vs giving unstable radical militia nutjobs a free pass on assembling arsenals, because, FREEDOM!!! |

This one did not go well for the repug center. A response from the NRA is awaited.

WTF is a "repug" center? There's no center in the GOP...in the office holding politicians or the voters. It's the party of racists, headcase religious fanatics, and of course, the 0.15%er's. If there was ever a reason why any of us on the left might cast a vote for any office seeker from the Republican Party, Trump's behavior in office, and the behavior of the entire party since January 6, 2021, killed it. That also goes for the almost 50% of asshole American voters who will vote for Trump a third time, even after seeing the legal system identifying him as a sexual assault perpetrator. If it was little Donnie, or dolt Eric, or anybody else on their side of the cultural divide being indicted for inappropriate firearms possession, the NRA would be having a cow. |
The NRA is a core element of the GOP.

I don't think this is a strategic move whatsoever by the JD. They simply cannot let Hunter off the hook for political reasons except I would have liked to see them investigate Kushner and his ties to MBS. The gun charge is the simplest on hand and chances are this will get dismissed. Just cannot believe this can be a felony unless he had used the gun. (not challenging the law) |

As with Durham, Weiss is going to have a hard time getting a conviction for a number of reasons. At least for the time being, Fox News has something to chew on. |
I'm sure this has been spewed before...but I don't have anything else on my plate this morning, so...
This Hunter Biden shit is propaganda being handed to the imbecilic racist schmuck assholes who voted for Trump twice and will do it again whenever the opportunity arises. What House Blubberer McCarthy is saying about investigating how Joe Biden profited from his son's misbehavior is just fucking stupid. Outside of the gun industry, the manufacturers and the sales pimps, how does anybody profit from someone being found in possession of a firearm who has been denied the right to possess a firearm because he has smoked some weed? Nobody profits but the lawyers on both sides. (What a great Constitution, eh?) So...there's no case...Kevin knows there's no case, because there's no money involved in the case. Reckon how long Kevin will last? Certainly not beyond the 2024 election after the Democrats have won back the US House. But I suspect the Freedom Caucus will figure out a way to get rid of him even though there are only 45 of them. Reckon why the other 177 members of the US House Republican Conference don't have a pair of balls between them. Oh wait, I know...because the 46% of Americans who vote for Republican politicians, don't have a fucking brain between them. |
