Arizona governor welcomes successor, though GOP candidate has not conceded

“The people of Arizona have spoken, their votes have been counted and we respect their decision.” Gov. Doug Ducey said.

And of course Kari Lake, an outspoken supporter of Republican voter suppression, is now sniveling about voter suppression. Nobody does hypocrisy better than a conjob.

I think it's all about being on the Trump ticket in 2024. Trump needs someone to help perpetuate his election integrity lies and she's more than happy to oblige her Dear Leader.

She has liked being in the spotlight for awhile. After this latest exposure to a national one, no stopping her now.

That being said, there's a plan B
If the twice impeached Russian asset gets taken out of the picture, I expect Ms. "Dry" Lake to announce a run for the WH herself as the heir to the MAGA mantle. What's she got to lose?

I had the same thought, that Kari would end up being the VP candidate on the GOP ticket.


As odd as it may seem (and a long shot), I'm thinking it will be Pence / Lake in 2024.

Pence? NFW. He doesn't have a constituency as he's hated by MAGA and liberals both.

I'm thinking Desantis and Trump are going to neutralize each other.

Loosing in the primaries will not stop Trump.
He will to form a new party and run.
Pence was having a tough reelection in Indiana when he accepted Trumps offer.

If I were Pence with Lake as my VP I'd be worried about my health, if you get my drift.

Agreed, TFG will do whatever it takes to stay in the race. Even if an indictment or two comes his way, they will be too late and I am certain he will mobilize the crazies. Words like deep state, elections, fraud will be slung from MAL with regularity and trumpeted by Faux and I don't believe they will dump him yet since his cult is their base audience.

Speaking of mobilized crazies... It would be amusing to see the MAGA maniacs trying to blockade the entrance of MAL to keep the feds from hauling his ass away.

It is also a good possibility that the old guard in the party will foolishly thinking once again....can control Trump.

Accepting him at the top of the ticket and have their guy as VP.


This time if Trump walks into the oval office.... he will very quickly remove and replace centralizing power. He will be full of petty vengeful rage.

But will that old guard, after three losing elections, still want to play ball? The only reason they were with TFG in the first place was because he could bring the votes. If he can no longer get them the votes he is of no use to them.

It's more been that he could take away votes. Many figured they couldn't get past the primary without him.

He can and will get them the votes, but they are no longer enough to win elections. While the Frightwing has been screaming election fraud, the unintended consequence is they cannot cheat either.

Karizona is at it again, not claiming election fraud but close enough.

PHOENIX (The Borowitz Report)—Kari Lake reportedly “flipped out” at a suburban 7-Eleven after buying a losing lottery ticket there on Christmas morning, multiple witnesses report.

According to those witnesses, Lake’s failure to produce a winning result in a lottery scratcher game called Cash Craze led her to accuse the ticket machine of being rigged against her and “riddled with fraud.”

While other customers averted their eyes, the former anchorwoman launched into a tirade on a wide range of targets, including the “pathetic” quality of Christmas presents she had just received.

A member of Lake’s extended family who spoke on condition of anonymity called her Christmas visit to the 7-Eleven “unfortunate” but said that “at least it got her out of the house for a few minutes.”

I am beginning to wonder if she is really this obtuse or simply playing up to the cult whom we already know are permanently brain damaged.

She has started a PAC called "Save Arizona" mimicking her mentor's Save America PAC to bilk more out of her supporters. And unfortunately there are enough dumb shit idiots who will contribute to her charade. She is also under sanctions from her frivolous lawsuits. How about a couple of disbarment for a change, but don't hold your breath. After all judges are also attorneys and they all grew up in the same shark tank.

And while the judge who decided the case against her is considering sanctions against Lake and her lawyers, she tweeted (and then deleted) that the judge's opinion was ghost-written by Marc Elias, Democratic election lawyer involved in the case. Not too smart, Trumpkin.
