I don't do piccies here, but I'm going to mention that up to a couple of weeks ago I had a beard. Now shaving clean for first time in 20 years. My immediate rationale was wanting my mask to fit better, what with COVID upping its game, but I also think Ted Cruz's beard was the last straw.

I had mine long before the turd, fuck him.

I can respect that attitude. But was seeing too many beards that looked like mine (full face, trimmed pretty short) on TV on very wrong people. I felt it was time for a change.

Still have mine just a long wild goatee now.
Shaved if off for a day back in the 80's once.

Figure if I die of C-19 wanting to be as I always was.

Yeah, I'll never be as fit again as I was 9 years ago helping raise 2 young boys. I ran my ass off keeping up with them.

I'm struggling to get/stay under 250 lbs.

I'm carrying a little extra weight but my cardio conditioning needs work. Walking my cat isn't cutting it.

I think Cruz is trying to emulate the Southern Confederate general look...you think someone with a Princeton and Harvard education would at least try and do something good with his education and office. I guess he wants to be the new Trump or something.

I guess a liberal education isn't what it used to be....

Cruz is apparently one of those 'Absolute power is kind of neat' guys.

I finished my bathroom remodel to the point where I, after a couple of months, put the mirror back up. :eek: YIKES! when did I get a gut :confused:
