President Pence, sooner rather than later

Fact is that Trump is tired of being president. He would be happy just to leave tomorrow so that he can get in touch with Putin to get the oligarchs to finance his hotel in Moscow. All that he really wants is to WIN and he will destroy democracy in every manner that he can think of to do so.
And if he does win, I fully expect him to resign and turn it all over to Pence the very next day, and certainly within the first few weeks. No way he wants to spend another four years cooped up on the WH when he could be screwing people to make more money.
So if he wins, get ready for President Pence.

Even so I don't think he would stick around. Pence can only protect and pardon him from federal criminal charges not ones from the state level.

Trump will need to be dragged out of the oval office.

agree that TRump hates being President

that said, because of his compulsions, he will find a way to stay as President until his death. (at least try) He will not leave if he loses the election and he will not leave if he serves 4 more years.

I'm pretty sure that the primary reason why Trump is servicing Mr. Putin so blatantly is that he needs to make sure he's going to have a place to land where Cyrus Vance, Jr., can't get to him, after he's charged with mail fraud, insurance fraud, and bank fraud by the State of New York. And so that when he's out of office, the new DOJ and the new AG can't get to him when he's charged with federal income tax fraud, obstruction of justice, and lying to the special prosecutor in his written answers to the Muller investigation...which is a felony. And any other federal crimes he's committed while in office, and I'm sure there are a number of them.

I suspect he's pretty terrified of going to jail. And if there's anything in the wide world of politics in this country that I want to see, it's Donald Trump's fat white cellulite ridden ass in prison.

Unlike you right-wingers who have to watch FOX and listen to Rush to know what to “think” and regurgitate it like a parrot, as a liberal I actually come up with my own thoughts.

Of course it's an opinion. Political forum debates and arguments are all about disperate opinions. And arguing over who's got the better evidence to support their opinion.

It's pretty much, my opinion's better than your opinion.

So how's about we all stop with the "I have the facts...that's just your opinion" bullshit, eh? What us lefty's have is legitimate evidence. Fer instance...

Yeah I get that, I was just curious if there was something that sparked their thought on the thread.

Seems to me that if you were really interested in seeing evidence backing an opinion, you would have asked for it. What it sounded like to me was "yeah...well that's your opinion."

And saying "curious where this came from" isn't blunt enough? Good grief.
