I think it was a great choice because I've seen her in action on the debate stage and I can't wait till she goes toe-to-toe with Pence in their only debate in October.

It's way past time that the largest voting bloc gets representation. We've been voting for this great public servant since she ran for state AG. Remember when Kamala Harris took on the mortgage lenders in 2011? Instead of a measly 2-4 billion, she got 18 billion with the help of another AG, Beau Biden. Yeah, if you live in California you know she's got the backs of regular folk and she's no slouch. Kam Harris is going to be a major force in this country.

FOX is playing and replaying the video of Harris excoriating Biden for his record on race. Not the best moment for her. It is campaign ad material.

That is the crux in politics...Who's history. She did not handle, respond well to charges made by Gabbard in a major debate and never recovered until Biden picked her.

There is tape of her on a black station making light of her use of marijuana which smells of hypocrisy from a perceived aggressive prosecutor.

My brother started the night by making remarks about Harris. Mainly about her being a, well rhymes with witch....

Then late last night started getting texts from another family member. One completely indoctrinated into the cult. Full of hateful ugly comments on Harris. Racist and outlandish assertions on sharia law taking over. Women being mutilated, crazy $hit. Oh electing Biden/Harris will usher in communism!

After getting four or five in a row I called him to tell him to stop. We have to get up early and needed to sleep. Normally he will be sensible and laugh then stop.
Not last night he went into a rant. Yelling and screaming hateful hurtful ugly comments. Soon realizing I never knew him or overlooked because of my sister. She is gone now and it looks like he is too for me going on from here.

He might apologize today, hope so but the comments will still be there. Showing me a true picture of his soul.

Discussions on politics or religion are for mature folks.

Propaganda changes people. It purposefully seeks to make the opposition into the 'dangerous enemy,' activating the 'fight or flight'' responses. Brain function wise, propaganda seeks to activate the amygdala, get the adrenalin flowing, and thus turn off the judgement centers of the frontal cortex. With extended stimulation this response of course becomes habitual. If when calm he normally thinks quite well of you he may apologize later. But if there is no underlying strong bond between you, that probably won't happen.

The GOP Reich-wing propaganda machine only has about ten weeks to tear Harris down so it's gonna get real ugly real fast. The lies will fly. Wait until after the debate. They're going to call her everything but a child of God. Quickly I think any Dems on the fence will realize we got to keep our eyes on the prize. Flush the turd on Nov. third.

I just have a bad feeling about Kamala Harris. She has just seemed like a poser to me— says things because she thinks they sound right politically rather than from any deep convictions. And she really hasn’t been tested on the national stage. All of her elected positions to this point have basically been gimmees because she came from California where her election when running against a Republican was practically guaranteed. I hope that Joe has not made a mistake. We’ll see, I suppose.
