Yeah...lots and lots and lots of shrapnel wounds to people. I'm still scratching my head at what could cause such a blast. Officially they're saying ammonium nitrate but we're talking like 500+ tons of it for a blast that big. It shook windows 110 miles away.

If my math is right, this detonation was approximately equivalent of 1.155 kilotons of TNT. Halifax was approximately the equivalent of 3 kilotons of TNT.

Look, Ford I'm going to close this thread and delete it if you can't find smaller pics. We have very few hard and fast rules here at PC and one is to keep the pics at 600x800 or smaller. Yea, I know it's a pain in the tucas to shrink pics but I suspect we don't generate enough ad revenue to warrant an upgrade in software. We are AKs red headed stepchild and that suits me fine. I find that organizing your thoughts and positions and then putting them to paper is preferable to plastering the walls with memes and pictures.

Ennywho, clean it up and I won't be that asshole who erases what you've posted. TIA.

c) That wall of text is critical to the subject matter of this thread and shrinking it will make it unreadable. I edit it into a link.
d) I haven't posted any memes.
e) Because of (a) it will probably happen again. If I do, know that it's not intentional. If it is called to my attention, I will fix it as I have done so every time so far. If I miss it, you have my permission to edit them to links as I have done so they have to be clicked to be viewed.
f) There's a lot of non-compliant images in this thread. I'm not complaining but I do take issue with double standards.
