2020

One year from now we'll get to decide which way this country goes...

In the meantime, it looks like Kentucky has a Democratic governor. AG Beshear is leading atm by a decent margin. Virginia looks to have gone Chesapeake blue with their house and senate in Democratic control.

All in all, the 2018 Blue Wave continues...

bobabode 11-05-2019 09:25 PM

Remember that lady who flipped off Trump's motorcade in Virginia? She is now the Loudon county Supervisor where Fat Donnie has a golf course. ;)

donquixote99 11-05-2019 10:15 PM

Glad to hear of the Country Supervisor results. Last I'd heard that lady had been sacked from her job and it had stood up in court.

Oerets 11-06-2019 06:38 AM

I look for Bevin to run against Moscow Mich in the spring.
Have until 1/28/2020 to file.
Bevin will first fight this election and once that is over will put his sights on the Senate. Ran against Mich once before.

donquixote99 11-06-2019 03:24 PM

Hope Bevin does, and knocks out Mitch. Bevin will be more beatable in the general. Like, its been done.

Pio1980 11-06-2019 07:26 PM

Just for S&G folks, do a web search on "The alternate reality of Trump supporters".

Charlievan 11-08-2019 06:01 AM

I'm guessing only Bevin is hopeful for Bevin. He doesn't stand a snowflake's chance in hell.

BEVIN ACCUSES SECRETARY OF STATE OF FRAUD AFTER SHE DECLARES HE LOST THE ELECTION

https://www.newsweek.com/kentucky-go...ection-1470292

Preview of Donny's tactics when he loses in 2020. Repubes have no limits to their depravity.

donquixote99 11-08-2019 05:05 PM

He's still governor. He can order the state authorities to investigate this fraud, can he not?

How Trump will he go?

Oerets 11-08-2019 05:17 PM

Local new is reporting state repubs are less then willing.....

Want some evidence!

So far zip!!!

Ike Bana 11-08-2019 05:43 PM

I try to be as positive about this as I can, but it's pretty difficult when the differences in the numbers between Trump and the top three in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania are so close as to be negligible and are driving me pretty bnb fucking nuts.

Can somebody tell me how they are living comfortably in a country where a racist, pedophile, extortionist is probably going to rack up 64 million votes again because all that matters to half the country is the promise of some economic or tax benefit.

Half of us like him. But not sadly anymore. Pissed off as hell because the more it sinks in to me and the blonde that pretty much one out of every two people we walk past on the street are fine with a racist, pedophile, extortionist on the highest office because it could be economically beneficial to them...

...the more we are looking at piling up a load of expenses, and spending a whole lot of our precious remaining time figuring out which decent place, far away from here, where we might dig in and feel a little comfortable for the time we have left. I'm gonna be 74 years old in less than two months, the blonde in a little over three. This fucking nonsense was not what we were looking forward to at this point on our lives. So we get rid of Trump, and maybe even get back control of the Congress. So what? It does not change what the country is.

We have the money, and she has the dual Irish citizenship that gives us the entire EU as an option. Lucky us...who wants this fucking option?

Bloomberg says the present crop of dems candidates does not inspire confidence and so he is strongly considering entering the race.

Bloomberg is entering the race even though he has a net worth of over $57 billion, and is the 9th richest person in the country and the 14th richest on the planet...because it's just not enough for him. Get the fuck over yourself Michael. Yeh...sure, the people who put Trump in the job are going to vote for a multi-billionaire kike.

Jesus fucking christ on a pogo stick.

Dondilion 11-09-2019 10:20 AM

I believe he is entering to counter Warren, plus he does not think Biden has the fire.

Pio1980 11-09-2019 12:12 PM

I hope mayor Pete keeps looking better and continues to make grounded sense.
Please, no radicals making promises they can't keep on issues few care enough to show up.

GEORGE CONWAY JOINS OTHERS IN CALLING FOR MICHAEL BLOOMBERG TO BUY FAUX "NEWS"

https://www.newsweek.com/michael-blo...x-news-1470792

Brilliant. Much better way to spend your $Billions, Michael. Get rid of the hatemongers on Faux, turn it into a real news organization. Follow the lead of Bezos and the Salesforce CEO, keeping real news alive. Democracy depends on it.

They'll probably migrate to the Sinclair disinformation network, a more subtle takeover of the rational thought process.

He's a self-promoting "stop and frisk" fan. He's the other side of the Trump coin. A billionaire who just can't manage to get himself enough attention. What Biden has is that he's attractive to moderate voters that the Democrats need, particularly fence sitting asshole independents, if we are going to get Trump voted out of office. Independents are not going to vote for candidates promoting universal medicare, or other hard line platform items from the members of the liberal wing of the party.

Don't get me wrong...I agree and support pretty much everything that the liberal wing of the Democratic Party espouses. The problem is...it's not going to get anybody elected. The only thing that matters is getting this racist, pedophile, extortionist, grifter out of the Oval Office.

Let's see, they can admit they were wrong and those infuriating elitist think-they're-so-smart liberals were right. And those colored people always calling me prejudiced were right.

Or, they can stick to their denial....

There is the fear that Biden might wander off into dream land.

Bloomberg if he runs will promote himself as a competent administrator operating in the center.

It hurts to destroy your sweet dreams of a limited Trump presidency, limited to four years.

Bob and folks, realize the facts - the sooner the better.

bobabode 11-14-2019 05:16 PM

Trump toady Matt Bevin found his desiccated cojones and conceded after a week.
Gov. Beshear - D. Kentucky has a nice ring to it. :p

Looks like Donnie 'Two Scoops' is poison. ;)

Kamala Harris just suspended her campaign today. There goes my first choice. Time to look at 'Jumpin' Joe again...

My nightmare scenario is no one getting 270 votes and all the red states electing Trump in the House.
I think each state gets one vote in that situation.

Win or lose this election will more then likely be decided in the Supreme court.

Guess how that will go.....

It isn't impossible by any means.

A prominent anti Trumper once openly called for recession to help defeat Trump and the recession theme was taken up by a number of main stream media.

So far the US economy has done better than many first World economies and has shown tremendous resilience.
The recent jobs report is testament to that.

Trump is beginning his fourth year. Therefore it is safe to say the economy is his.

He has gambled on claiming it early since when he was a candidate he had severely criticized the metric used to describe it.

It seems his luck is holding. If it stays with him till November the odds for second term is much improved.

Luck is right, there's no explaining this economy under the uncertainty leadership of this capricious chaos clown. Nonetheless, it is not sustainable, but like most demagogic strategies, the randomly flung faeces only has to cling until its purpose is served, then to be denied and ignored.

Pio1980 12-09-2019 07:07 PM

A critical consideration, is the Trump economy sustainable?

Life's always seems good when living on credit you never plan on paying for. You know, planning on filing chapter 13 or will it be 11?
This time for a whole country.....not a company!

It is sustainable as long as the world continues to buy its debt.
The US has goodwill, a heap of goodwill.

Had. Uncertainty about almost everything, including long-standing alliances, has seriously undercut confidence in the reliability of US assets.

Then when it fails too?
It will someday.

China can only be pushed so far.

Off the cliff, fire sale of assets????

War?

No good things will be happening for sure!
