Maybe another Saturday Night Massacre is in the works....right now!

nailer 10-28-2017 12:12 PM

That would play great with his base.

Rajoo 10-28-2017 12:17 PM

I posted this video on another thread and it's funny and timely.

His base will soon become irrelevant except in a few deep red states such as Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana. With Trump's healthcare and tax cuts, they are too stupid to realize that they are being had with a stupid MAGA hat.

It looks a lot like there will be a kaboom in Korea. :(

Let's hope it's just more saber rattling from the Moron-in-Chief.

Rajoo 10-28-2017 01:03 PM

N. Korea's underground test site mountain is in danger of crumbling and they are desperately seeking a test site, perhaps over the Pacific. Don't think it's prudent to rattle Lil Kim.

JCricket 10-28-2017 02:48 PM

And if thing at home go's sour, make lots of noise and confusion so that it is too "dangerous" to change out leadership at this moment.

Having Trey try to do some more HRC investigations doesn't count? Not too many seem to be that concerned anymore, maybe they cried wolf one too many times.

Newt Gingrich
@newtgingrich
Robert Mueller is superb choice to be special counsel. His reputation is impeccable for honesty and integrity. Media should now calm down

Mueller is compromised.

Trump's base is relevant and well spread. The gerrymandering is the most scientific and effective ever done.

From this mornings news, 70% are note very happy with the Trump presidency. Besides aren't there a couple of cases in the Supreme Court about these gerrymanderings?

How is Mueller compromised or is it this.

Trump team’s response to Russia news: Focus on Clinton, leaks or anything else

Quote:

In recent days, the president has been sticking to his long-held mantra when it comes to Russia, according to associates who have spoken with him. He maintains that Mueller is on a wild goose chase if he’s trying to find any connection between the president and Russia, because there’s nothing to find.
Quote:

The rest of the administration’s media strategy on Saturday consisted of a scramble to shift any conversation about Russian collusion over to Hillary Clinton's failed campaign — a difficult sell when it was former Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta whose personal email account was hacked by the Russians last year. “The evidence Clinton campaign, DNC & Russia colluded to influence the election is indisputable,” press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders tweeted Saturday morning, with a link to an article from The Federalist website detailing how Democrats paid for the Steele dossier on Russia.

Just read this excellent New Yorker article again. Trump's business of corruption. Follow the money, Mueller. It leads straight from Trump to Putin.

How so?

JCricket 10-29-2017 09:20 PM

Anyone have a guess who is going to be charged?

Hillary? Flynn? Bannon? Trump?

Pio1980 10-29-2017 11:35 PM

Manafart?

finnbow 10-30-2017 07:17 AM

Former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort and his former business partner Rick Gates will turn themselves in on charges stemming from Special Counsel Robert S. Mueller III’s investigation into possible coordination between the Trump campaign and Russia to influence the 2016 election, according to a person familiar with the matter.

Well, that was fun! Who's next?

I'm betting on the General, because they can indict him on the same charges as Manafart.

Then Donny Jr, because he's such a vacuous, smug little prick, who was giddy about the idea of getting dirt on H from the Ruskies. He's dumber than dirt, so should have been very easy to get the dirt on him.

Then the Son-in-law, Kushner, who owes billions, so was an easy target for corruption by the Russians. You just KNOW he's done something that ought to put him behind bars.

Finally, the main event, the cowardly, pugnacious, cheating, lying, disgusting sexual predator himself, Big Orange. I'll be dancing a jig when he finally gets his just rewards.

I think that pretty much sums up what's gonna happen over the next 8-9 months. It'll be a joy to watch unfold.

I wonder where that smarmy little prick Carter Page is hiding? That punk is lucky he isn't 'sleeping with the fishes' wearing cement galoshes in the East River.

Yeh, they're hanging their hat on the argument that Hillary and the DNC colluded with Russia when they hired an opposition-research firm who investigated Trump’s collusion with Russia.

Chicks 10-30-2017 08:22 PM

Watching a couple of former federal prosecutors on The News Hour walking Judy through today's events. BIGLY bad news for this administration. "The dots are all lined up, all you have to do is take a pencil and connect them". Straight to Donny. Boom!

Rajoo 11-01-2017 11:35 PM

It took trump only a day or two to find a scapegoat.
Quote:

Vanity Fair reports that the president, during a Tuesday phone call with former White House chief strategist Stephen Bannon, blamed Kushner for Mueller's advancing investigation because he had advocated the firings of former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn and former FBI Director James Comey. Bannon — who once referred to Kushner as a "cuck" — is to said want former White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus to testify to Mueller that Kushner pushed the president to fire Comey.
Quote:

Meanwhile, in a recent call with close friend Roger Stone, Trump agreed with Stone's assessment that Kushner had given the president bad political advice, Vanity Fair reports. The White House did not respond to a request from Vanity Fair for comment.
Does this mean Kushner is persona non grata at the White House?
Perhaps Mueller can offer Kushner limited immunity and see if he will sing.
This is getting more intriguing by the day.

White House was unaware top adviser testified before grand jury
Quote:

The White House first learned one of its senior staffers met with the grand jury hearing the case presented by the special counsel into alleged Russian meddling into the 2016 election not from the staffer but from media reports, sources with knowledge of the investigation tell ABC News.
Perhaps because Papadopoulos is an insignificant player in all this.
