The Amerikan Gestapo Can Do Whatever It Wants.

Just like Reinhard Heydrich and Adolph Hitler. Only difference is, then they were rounding up Jews, now we're rounding up Mexicans. And I say "we" because when it comes down to it...we are letting the government do this. What the government of this country does is always and forever on the hands of the people.

And beautifully summarized by John Oliver...

Kill prisoner, be promoted. Gestapo is exactly the word.

And Trump says do it! I'm behind you!

Trump is destroying America.

The world laughs at what he does. The USA deserves a man as president, not a fool or a child. IMO

MrPots 09-13-2017 08:52 PM

I don't think the world is laughing.....

donquixote99 09-13-2017 09:12 PM

As soon as he came out the the 'torture' and 'kill the relatives' positions, anyone should have known what sort of terror state he's move us toward.

The House rejects Sessions' repulsive overreach on civil asset forfeiture. Something good from the House, for a change.

“Under this dubious practice, law enforcement may seize a citizen’s cash and property simply because someone suspects it of being connected to criminal activity, without convicting, indicting, arresting or even charging the property owner with having committed a crime and without proving or even alleging in court that the property is somehow connected to criminal activity,” Raskin said.
How did this even get consideration I will never understand. The banana republic USA deserves to be laughed at on the world stage for nonsense like this.

Like the Berkley police officer who cited a hot dog vendor for selling dogs without a license and then went through his wallet and confiscated all the vendors cash? Wanna bet that cash never made it to the evidence room.

This is our Amerikkka...own it.

Of course it's the big white guy protecting the citizens from the Mexican guy.....

What an ugly country we've become. I won't stand for the flag either.

I'm guessing the hot dog vendor isn't letting the incident bother him much at this point.

As an aside.... in a cash and carry business, in California, what the cop did was legal no matter how wrong it seems.

How is this not an abuse of authority?

That's what's wrong with it. Many police forces are using this "Law" to feather their departments with luxury cars and cash. Confiscating money and property that never gets returned even when no charges are filed. Those in power always end up abusing it, you can count on it.

RICO asset forfeiture has to be a violation of the 5th and 14th Amendments. Which is only one of many reasons why maintaining The Constitution as it is may be the greatest hypocrisy in the history of the country.

Arguing in court over what the founders really meant? Fucking really? This is how law in this country is maintained? Get rid of it.

Arguing in court is a damn site better than having no where at all to argue about what TPTB want. Courts have frustrated Trump considerably.

I'm not saying no Constitution...just not the same Constitution we've had for 230 years. We need a Second Constitutional Convention. The document we have isn't working

With the gerrymandering that is in place now, and the wingnuts in control of several state legislatures, do you really want to give the folks who control the political process a shot at reworking the Constitution? In my view, it would only multiply the problems.

MrPots 09-23-2017 05:03 PM

Jesus yes......
