Bannon Out

Breaking News: President Trump told aides he’s decided to push out Stephen Bannon as chief strategist.

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/08/18/u...ite-house.html

It'll be great fun watching Breitbart turn on the Pariah President.

Hope Miller is next...

Pio1980 08-18-2017 11:55 AM

And Gorka.

Chicks 08-18-2017 11:57 AM

Apparently he resigned two weeks ago. Explains why he's felt free to be so open in interviews recently.

And Trump.

This is why Bannon called that progressive reporter and gave the jaw dropping, from The Donald's perspective, interview. He left at the perfect time for him.

You might even start quoting them to support your position. (Written with the best of intentions.)

Go here and read the comments section. Most feel they've been betrayed by their Dear Leader.

Mr. Bannon wants to spend more time concentrating on his, ahem...hobbies. :D

finnbow 08-18-2017 12:42 PM

Maybe it's time for Trump to get Melania and go down into his bunker. Before doing so, he should ensure that Stephen Miller, Sebastian Gorka and KellyAnne have their cyanide pills.

Meanwhile, David Duke is polishing up his resume for Chief Policy Advisor.

One cannot blame Trump for pushing Bannon out since he is looking to reduce the WH payroll. :)

'#WAR': Breitbart set to take on Trump White House after Bannon ouster

There goes half of Trump's idiot base. I wonder if our resident idiots will abandon him now too?

He planned this. 'Suicide' by New Yorker reporter. It was noted at the time that there were very odd aspects to the conversation, one being that 'on-record/off-record' was never mentioned.

One of the bigger rats has left the ship--for the proverbial reason, I suspect.

I agree with those who think this claim is BS, either by Bannon or the person who shared it. The New Yorker interview content would have been different if his departure was already scheduled.

Bannon wanted to be fired. That way he could become a martyr for all his Alt-Right fanboys and make more money spewing shit at Breitbart.

Agree.

Jennifer Rubin:

Trump may be in worse shape than ever. Bannon may lead his true believers away from Trump while the rest of the party turns its back on him. Trump could very well find himself utterly isolated, lacking a real agenda or any defense against a vengeful Bannon and determined prosecutor.

Bannon Returns to Breitbart News
Quote:

Hours after his departure from the White House was announced, Mr. Bannon led the evening editorial meeting of his former publication, Breitbart said on its website.

“The populist-nationalist movement got a lot stronger today,” the editor in chief of Breitbart, Alex Marlow, said in a statement.
Let the Trump Bannon game begin now that Bannon will no longer be shackled. :)

“I think they’re going to try to moderate him,” Bannon said. “I think he’ll sign a clean debt ceiling; I think you’ll see all this stuff. His natural tendency — and I think you saw it this week on Charlottesville — his actual default position is the position of his base, the position that got him elected. I think you’re going to see a lot of constraints on that. I think it’ll be much more conventional.”
Here it is, a direct quote from Bannon who is not mincing his words.
