NEWS FLASH!!! Trump c'ville 180...

Never heard the dickweed say the word "love" even once, much less the half dozen times in this monumental example of political backpeddaling.

Can't wait to hear what Hannity has to say about this.

PS - Trump will never win another election in this country now that he's lost the nazi and bigot vote.

Chicks 08-14-2017 01:16 PM

No, this skunk hasn't changed his stripe...

He'll praise Trump while complaining that he buckled to the MSM.

I think a lot of the Alt Right/Neo-Fazi faction of the GOP recognize the insincerity in his criticism of them, particularly with Bannon, Miller, and Gorka still on the White House staff.

ZeroJunk 08-14-2017 01:39 PM

Well, that is exactly what he did.

It's as if everybody has to come up with the most perfect language to demonstrate his heart pierced pain. Blah Blah Blah

I hate it happened. Hope they put the lunatic in jail forever.

The rest of it is a side show for the anti-Trumpers.

Actually, it was a rally for Trump's most ardent supporters who showed the nation who they really are.

Actually, I think Zero is referencing what came after and is continuing.

Lunatic? He's a white supremacist, neo-Nazi terrorist. The same as Dylan Roof from your fair state.

I'm sure you believe that kind of thing, but those people collectively could not get a dog catcher elected.

You will get no argument from me. Seems lunatic is accurate.

They got Trump elected and I'd rather have just about any dog catcher than Trump. Moreover, the guy who ran the Alt-Right's kennel, Steve Bannon, is still Trump's chief strategist.

Actually the alt right is your imagination. It is like saying Bill Ayers was the driving force behind Obama. Nonsense.

Nonsensical lie. Steve Bannon himself claimed the mantle of the "alt-right" when he was running Breitbarts.

Tell that to your boy, Richard Spencer.

He would never have won the purple states without those votes. He won MI, WI, and PA by less than 80,000 total votes dimwit.

Not at all. Michigan and Pennsylania are hot beds for right-wing militias.

Still, an odd place since they were all part of the Union.

At odds with the whole Civil War narrative.

Not really. They're all anti-American.

Idaho wasn't even a state yet, but it's full of the alt-right, neo-Nazi skinhead idiots.

It's a Southern delusion (one of many related to the Civil War) that union sentiment remains strong in the North. We all forgot the idea of not liking rebels some generations ago, and are often surprised to learn that there are those who still don't like Yankees.

So, the Civil War and a statue of Lee has nothing to do with it.

Indeed. I remember about 30 years back I was on a business trip in Huntsville, AL and hit up the local happy hour at the Space Center Marriott. Lots of cute big-haired gals with floral print dresses, one of whom approached me to chat. I said I was from Maryland, to which she responded "Ew, I've never met a Yankee I didn't hate." Charming.

Huh? These racist nut jobs will rally and march for anything they perceive as a threat to "white superiority". One of these was the removal of the statue of the despicable Lee...

Here's a little history lesson for you - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/German_American_Bund

It isn't just the Lost Causers, they've joined up with the neo-Nazis. You didn't see all those swastika flags in the news reports?

Not much. Just an excuse for the party.

Probably. But, it must have been the KKK Nazis fighting other KKK Nazis since according to all the media and politicians nobody else was involved.

There were Nazis and anti-Nazis. Not exactly morally equivalent IMO.

I don't disagree. I don't like pit bulls, but I don't go around poking them.

This notion that if you don't confront them they are going to grow in to some huge movement is ridiculous. Much more likely that they will grow if the media and politicians keep advertising them 24/7 .

Which is why they were at Charlottesville in the first place.

Same goes for his remaining supporters, who are haters and racists. There can be no other explanation for still supporting the bigot at this point.

I doubt Trump has lost a single vote. Just because you have been spoon fed the hater, racist, bigot crap does not mean it applies to the average Trump voter or Trump any more than it does to you.

I think Chick is obviously a racist, and she cannot prove that she is not.

Congratulations on making it all the way through fifth grade! Too bad your education was cut short after that.

You and whell should get together with tiki torches and go protect a hateful statue somewhere.

You should spend you time babbling about racism and never actually do anything for anybody.

OK...maybe 10 years ago we drove down to stay in a condo on Kiawah for a week. We drove down from the outlaws place in Alpharetta, GA. Kiawah is pretty close to Charleston, SC so we drove in there for dinner most nights, and took one of the open air bus tours around town. It was very enjoyable, informative, and interesting in ways we would not have imagined. Our docent was a senior lady, Charleston was her home town, very proud and dignified woman, probably nudging up to 80 years old. At one point she asks the busload how many of us were from "up north". About half the people, including us, of course, raised our hands. To which she replied...

"We just love it that you Yankees come down here to visit our beautiful city. But we don't want any of you to start thinking about actually relocatin' here." She also made a point of letting us know that the old Charleston City Market was not ever a slave market. Yeh, sure.

A buddy of mine, a Tennessean, moved down here over 30 years ago to take a job at TI. The personnel official who was getting him started called him a Yankee. :)

When I lived in New Orleans, they considered anyone from north of 1-10 a Yankee.

I did a long term (18 month) project in Nashville, late 80's time frame and a Caucasian employee there told me after we have had a brew or two that I was better than any Yankee he has ever met and that I better stop speaking like a damn Yank. :D
