Anyone else tired of riding the hate wagon...

I am. My tolerance for anyone saying "democrats want....." or "Republicans want...." is growing very thin. I just want to reply to any comment like this with a "shut the H... up".

If you want to talk about immigration problems, international trade agreements, sessions meeting with the Russians, etc..........., fine, but keep the generalizations about party positions out of it.

I hear far to much of the outright malicous and deceptive BS on the media. I have to say I feel a little condescending when I point out that all of the issues being discussed are far from black and whit.e And further, that a position taken on any issue and howto vote on it is many magnitudes more complex than presented. These simplifications made about either party and its members are outright lies. I find it especially irritating to have someone approach me in this manner and expect me to be stupid enough to make a simpleton statement about an issues and give a black and white endorsement.

It is time we all said enough. NO MORE HATE, NO MORE DECEPTION, NO MORE MARGINALIZATION AND CONDEMNATION OF OUR FELLOW AMERICANS BECAUSE WE SEE THINGS DIFFERENTLY.

RANT OFF!

BTW, good morning folks, I hope you all have a great day rather than a grate day.;)

CarlV 03-02-2017 10:22 AM

The last 2 threads I started I did not mention party, but they were about Government officials lying to the public under oath. Unlike the made up Benghazi wet dream.

Hey Carl,
There are some great folks here. I did not mean to point any particular fingers. More of to blow off steam. I have been watching both CNN and FOX and just can't barely stand it.

I think all of us, myself included, have said "the dems" or "the gop"... many times in the past. I am not going to do that nay more. If I wouldn't make a lot of enemies and lose a lot of friends, I would take on the job of the hate wagon police. I would likely post "Hate Wagon, STHU" after any hate post.

I am certain this would make me a very popular person here on PCCHAT.

I just needed to vent and rant for a few. My apologies if I offended you are others.

barbara 03-02-2017 10:33 AM

I know what you mean. I'm a bit weary of all the political back and forth too.

Vent away my friend, if I had access to those channels I probably would be doing the same. :)

You would have to flag at least 90% of the posts on this forum if you did that objectively.

barbara 03-02-2017 03:29 PM

TJ talking about objectivity..... That's really funny. 😏

I'm more objective than anyone here.

I fight the haters everytime I log on to this forum.

It's even funnier that you think you are objective. 😊

Thanks for the chuckles.

Let's put Cricket in charge of policing hate posts like he suggested.

Let's see who can handle it and who can't.

I have confidence in my ability.

Way too late. We now live in the world of politics of hate and this is a big money business with billionaires willing to spend billions to sow hate taking advantage of the general discontent. The media has become willing participants and then to add fuel to the fire, there is the unregulated social media that can take a life on its own.

So its "if your are not with me is against me" and 'the enemy of my enemy is my friend".
How else can a guy like Trump ever get elected President of USA?
Politics of division and Trumpism (gutter politics).

I think a lot of credit for that has to go to the Democratic establishment for rigging their nomination for zero charisma loser candidate Hillary Clinton who promised "Same shit, different day" when the voters were demanding change.

Uh, thanks for the vote of confidence, but I don't think I could handle that kind of godly like power. I would be an abusive deity.

Actually Tom, with all seriousness, I wish you lived closer to me. I would invite you out for a cup of coffee. I disagree with most of your posts, but I have to say you do have a passion for your beliefs.

It's easy to be passionate when you don't give a fuck.;)

Not hate.... Just reality. But I understand why you have a hard time telling the difference.

There is no reason why anyone should support an elected official who is an admitted sexual predator, who lies constantly, buddies up with our enemies, insults our allies and who won't own up to his mistakes.

Some of us just aren't as gullible as you, TJ.

Pio1980 03-03-2017 10:04 AM

I got along on a personal basis fine with Dan 2-4-7, and Bob here, tho we disagree on many points.
That I firmly believe the present POTUS to be nothing more than a deliberately uninformed shallow egocentric flattery powered narcissistic sociopath is by evidence non-negotiably firm.

Tom Joad 03-03-2017 10:17 AM

Anyone objectively reading the comments in this thread will readily see the futility of trying to have any substantive discourse with the Trump haters.

Well - I do not hate him. But he is a mentally disabled person and therefore a serious threat for the entire world. Tom Joad, there is no doubt that you are an intelligent person. So I can't understand that you do not get this most essential fact referring to Trump.

merrylander 03-03-2017 03:02 PM

He's trolling Chris, and is perfectly aware that Trump is a threat to the whole world, whistling past the graveyard we call it.

The fact that you would say such a thing as "Trump is a threat to the whole world" shows how effective the deep states propaganda machine is.

Hillary Clinton is the warmonger and champion of foreign intervention, not Trump.

What what what?

Trump cutting State Department budget and aid all the while increasing defense spending. Tells me less talking, making alliances and more fighting...........

Worked for Reagan, the Republicans love it and Trump is already working on his reelection.

sheltiedave 03-03-2017 07:19 PM

Reagan didn't cut State much at all, and he had the ability to drive the budget into the red without significant worries. Plus, the USSR was trembling at the knees economically then, while Putin and his cronies stand to benefit from increasing oil prices now. The Russians are ramping up their military spending now, and are not crippled by a horrible Afghan invasion like they were when Reagan came to power.

Fighting never ending wars in Syria, Iraq, and Afghanistan are horrendously expensive, have chewed up our military's readiness and morale, and have decimated monies normally spent on maintenance, upkeep, and replacement parts, to the point where our forces have about a 45% to 55% capital weapons platform availability across all services. This means tanks, fighter jets, bombers, subs, aircraft carriers, amphibious landing crafts, troop transports, Humvees, et al are broke dick DOA.

Rajoo 03-03-2017 08:04 PM

Isn't cutting State and EPA budgets to help offset the $54 Billion increased defense spending?

Rob, Tom Joad is a strange person, it's a pity. A big bunch of IQ points - totally wasted. I am so glad that people like TJ are still the minority in our Western democratic societies.

It's Trump's fault for making it so easy to hate him. He has made it plain what kind of trash he is. People who chose to filter or ignore his actions to fit their reality are the same people who said. What concentration camps, I don't smell anything. I don't remember who said it but this phrase keeps coming to mind. Those willing to trade freedoms for security deserve neither.

There is no hate if you hate what Trump really represents.

You people don't know how lucky you are to have someone of my caliber posting here with you mooks.

It's like Andy Murray coming in and volleying with some local weekend wannabes.
