Trump Claims 3-5 Million Illegal Votes

In yesterday's meeting with Congressional leaders, Trump started the meeting talk with a ~10 minute rant about how there were 3-5 million illegal votes and how he would have won popular vote had this not been so. Of course, there's absolutely no evidence to support this ridiculous assertion.

In today's WH press conference, Spicer affirmed this to be Trump's opinion, yet was seemingly unwilling to produce the information upon which his claim is made or to task the FBI to investigate what would be the largest case of voter fraud in history.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...-house-policy/

When asked what he thought of Trump's assertion, Lindsey Graham said "As a matter of fact I'd like you to do more than stop saying it. I'd like you to come forward and say having looked at it I am confident the election was fair and accurate and people who voted voted legally. Cause if he doesn't do that, this is going to undermine his ability to govern this country."

Just how insecure and vain is this man?

If you publicly disagree with this obvious BS, you go on the enemies list.

People will be taught not to disagree. He can do more than tweet at you now.

Trump is speaking to his partisan constituents, because he knows he has to rally them against the McCains and Grahams.

And his constituents fervently believe that illegals voted, especially in Sanctuary Cities.

Do you condone this?

He said this in his first meeting with Congressional leaders since the election. This wasn't in a rally (though in either venue, it's still a lie).

I don't agree with him on this. It's a ridiculous assertion.

However, it is no more ridiculous than the absurd notion that Russian hacking swayed the election to Trump.

Trump is now fighting a three front war and this is effective propaganda.

Evidence?

You got a Greg Palast of the right, exposing the rampant immigrant voter fraud in alt media?

Don, you may be another one of the rare few on this forum that hasn't gone batshit crazy over Trump's election.

People love to believe in a hidden Trump, who manipulates the outer image as part of a master plan. But Trump doesn't do effective, or make actual plans. No insider has ever come back with accounts of the 'hidden Trump.' The accounts all say there is no hidden Trump.

So, it's not part of some deep propaganda campaign to go on about immigrant vote fraud. It's just a belief of his. He doesn't let go of self-serving beliefs.

Right.

That's why his campaign fizzled out and went nowhere.

Getting his ducks in a row for new voter suppression and immigration laws. GOP will fall in line, the majority of them have sold their souls and last vestiges of integrity for power!

There needed to be some correction to all these one sided trade deals.

This is a little scary, having a president who's unsubstantiated beliefs are "facts" to be acted upon. So what new restrictive voter laws will he push for? The GOP has already set a precedent with all the new voter ID laws passed under the excuse of fictional voter fraud...and no one cared. So laws will be passed by Trumps and the GOP based on belief rather than fact and the people apparently will not care. No telling where this will end.

Probably there was some smoke with all that official rush to give real documentation to illegals. Damn just check out how many illegals who got citizenship that cause such an uproar that the program had to be slowed and strongly reviewed.

When real citizens see illegals with drivers licences...suspicion follows.

And BTW Trump had an effective plan for the Blue Wall States.

And do you believe he had a plan for Jeb Bush?

donquixote99 01-24-2017 05:42 PM

No plan needed for Jeb Bush. his name was Bush, and the 'smarter brother' came off as dumb.

All in all, I think Trump got lucky every step of the way. It was the year when what he (and smarter people on his behalf) were able to do, worked. Just barely worked, don't forget. He never expected to win.

Plan for the blue wall? A pattern seen in retrospect. He campaigned in California, so he therefore had a plan for California, right? How'd that work out?

Only on Fox News was the propaganda put forth that those California drivers licenses entitled the undocumented to vote.

Nothing could be further from the truth, Don. I've volunteered to work the polls for years and it is impossible for the undocumented to vote. Anyone who tried would be on the next bus to the border.

Luck every step of the way...some luck running against his party and the Democrats.

Dude won fair and square. Losers whine and make excuses. Trump is going to take more shit than Obama and it's not like he's not asking for it. He's a counter puncher after all.

Sorry but that is not how you get on the voter lists, I had to prove my citizenship. They also read the obits and remove you when you are dead.
