We can't Afford to Lose This Election

If the far right wins this time, they then have Congress, and the Presidency, and the Supreme Court. Then there will be nothing to stop them from doing more and more of the VOTE SUPRESSION stuff detailed in Greg Palast's film 'The Best Democracy Money Can Buy.' That way, they'll make their regime permanent.

Yes, there is massive vote fraud, of a certain type, and it's the Republicans that are doing it.

The film, BTW, can be watched for FREE now through Tuesday only. Hit this link:

http://www.gregpalast.com/bestdemocracymovie/

Jump through a couple of hoops. Download the PDF. Open the PDF. Click on the watch movie link in that, and it will stream through your browser.

Lots of Dayton OH footage. And bad shit happening. Watch it.

Voter fraud in Ohio, surely you jest???

One piece of this is "Interstate Crosscheck," which I think we've talked about here before.

here in the sunny state of Florida you are still required to present some form of state ID. call it what you will, I call it a poll tax...

Florida and Nevada, too. Might have to break out my dancing shoes soon. ;)

The polls seem to have stabilized with Crooked Hillary in the lead by about 2 points.

And 538 still has it roughly 2-1 in her favor.

I guess it's time for me to begin preparations for the worst case scenario.

A Hildebeast Presidency. :(

Pio1980 11-07-2016 08:45 AM

Second worst outcome. The regressive chaotic return to the 19th century under the lyin' king and the teabagger 2nd banana would undoubtedly be much worse for far longer.

Trump's going to get rid of the Internet, TV, antibiotics ... and the H-bomb?

Since everyday is Saturday for me looks like I'll be headed for a camp.

'Retirement sanctuary.'

Looks like Hillary got a final surge when Comey let her off the hook for the second time. RCP now shows her with a three point lead going into election day.

Things are looking bleak for the good guys. :(

Keep hoping. Interstate Crosscheck could still carry the day.

I am going to play "Highway to Hell" by AC/DC in the morning before walking to our polling station and drop off my ballot, which is less than a mile away. :)

It's a feel-good ritual like yours, I can't handle but very little AC/DC sober.

And we're about to be had again regardless of outcome.

Not tomorrow, and it might be a long way to Jan 20th....

That's why it's a ritual, and less wasteful than throwing a cask of virgin olive oil into a volcano.
BTW, what's with all the extra virgins? Is there a surplus in Italy? What's wrong with sadder but wiser olive oil?

Olive oil came originally from Greece. No clue as how this affected the nubile population of Italy. Is there a Greek or Latin joke here? :)
