It appears that all one needs to be is the daughter of a Democratic Senator and that makes it OK to price gouge the public for their prescriptions while drawing an 18.9 million dollar salary.

Her ability to fleece the public has nothing to do with her relationship to her father, the politician. Big Pharma does this routinely.

There's nothing there to indicate that she didn't advance on her own merits. Quite the opposite actually. That doesn't excuse the corporate greed she exhibits, however.

A perfect example of American greed, unique in that it preys on those who by unfortunate circumstance must use their product. It's why a 15 minute chat with the doctor will set you back $500 bucks. This practice of "screw over the patient" is rampant across the medical profession in the US and why Obamacare will never work.

The medical profession isn't about healing, it's about getting rich quick. It's about keeping as much of the public on expensive drugs as long as possible.

How long has it been since a significant cure for anything has been found?

Just so you know. My young nephew with epilepsy came very close to dying on a generic as well as my mom. Some work, some don't but you never know until it is too late or almost too late.

Drugs are not created equal.

Epi-Pen is $200 in Canada so why dosen't Congress get off its collective arse and tell Big Pharma what it is allowed to charge

Because it's not the will of the people they represent.
