The OFFICIAL The Death Of The Donald Thread

We need one of these.

Corey Lewandowski to the rescue!

Quote:

“If Donald Trump was the president, Captain Khan would be alive today, because he would’ve never engaged in a war that didn’t directly benefit this country,” Lewandowski said. “Captain Khan would be alive today, as would 7,000 other U.S. soldiers.”
Not content to trash the surviving Khans, the Trump campaign is now using their son's death to attack the President.

Given time, he may talk himself out of what lead he had and sour enuff of his appeal to throw the election.
Time will not be his friend if it brings sunlight on him as he can't survive examination beyond the ballyhoo.

I am not 100% certain that was not the plan from the beginning. You would be hard pressed to write a better script for failure.

Any ideas as to what would happen if Trump were to drop out of the race now?
Of course Cruz would demand to be nominated and the establishment will never go for that.

Or Pence could move up-ticket by appointment by the RNC and appoint his choice of veep.
Ideally, the orange moron will pull the party down with him by insisting he ride it out to the end.

Looked it up. Th party National Committee meets and votes in a replacement. Think of it as a superdelegate-only convention.

If they could pull it off and install Kasich, they'd likely win. As it is, Trump is going to take them down in flames.

Explain to me what's wrong with what Lewandowski said, because I don't see it.

There's a good chance he would still be alive. After all he was killed in the BUSH/Clinton War of Imperial Aggression Based on Lies.

He may have died by some other means in the interim since 2004, but there is no reason to believe that Trump would have invaded Iraq if he were President.

Trump has been declared dead about 1,000 times over the past year.

And hes still standing.

Which is why I asked the question. If I am a GOP strategist, would be making every effort to get him to step down. Offer him an ambassadorship to Russia. He is seriously hurting his brand which seems to be the asset he values the most, or worse having to disclose his assets/tax returns. If more and more GOP elected members continue to openly pull away from Trump, it may come to this.

Running against a bunch of wimps like Bush3, Rubio and Cruz in the primaries is not the same as going up against the DNC and their Million$, not to mention other entrenched interests in finance and manufacturing.

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump is refusing to back House Speaker Paul D. Ryan in his upcoming primary election, saying in an interview Tuesday that he is “not quite there yet” in endorsing his party’s top-ranking elected official.

Trump also said he was not supporting Sen. John McCain in his primary in Arizona, and he singled out Sen. Kelly Ayotte as a weak and disloyal leader in New Hampshire, a state whose presidential primary Trump won handily.

Bush3 had over $100 million bucks behind him before the campaign even started. Plus he had nearly the entire Republican establishment backing him. And he was leading in the polls. And Trump crushed him.

I am absolutely elated that he crushed the Bush Dynasty and I will also be happy to see him crush the Clinton one too.

No more Bush's, no more Clinton's. :D

Have fun while it lasts. Remember Bush swift boating Kerry?
Expect the GOP to torpedo Trump out of the water if he continues this behavior as he is getting more and more dangerous not only to their party but the country.

Trump may give the House in addition to Senate to the Democrats if he keeps this up.

And Trump showed a total lack of class by accepting the Purple Heart knowing fully well he did not earn it. This is not collecting jewelry like people buying NBA championship rings.

It's called politicizing a tragedy. Also gross insensitivity, something I wouldn't expect you to know the slightest thing about.

Since I'm a Vet, what is it that I am supposed to be insulted about?

As a Vet you see no issue with this statement?

"I always wanted to get the Purple Heart. This was much easier"

No humility humbleness or appreciation for the mans suffering.

Then the crying baby at the event! The person is such a @sshole!

TJ sees no issue with the statement because he and Trump are two peas from the same pod.

Whiners who crave attention.

I lost count of how many combat tours my son did in the Middle East. And since he was Special Forces I had plenty of time to think about how I would feel if he got whacked.

I thought about who I would blame and be pissed off at and the list was pretty long. Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rice, Wolfowitz, Powell, shit there were dozens of Neo Con Iraq War architects in the Bush Administration that I would have been pissed at. I even fantasized about what I would do if Bush wanted to meet with me as a Gold Star Parent. I figured if he let me get close enough to shake hands with him, then he would be close enough for me to throw a haymaker and try to knock some of his teeth out.

Then there's the damned Democrats, including Clinton, that gave Bush political cover by voting for the war.

But one name that never came up on my hate list was Donald Trump.

Trump was that Dude on The Apprentice. A show I never watched because I thought it was inane, but it, and he, had nothing to do with the decision to invade Iraq.

So I gotta ask myself, why the Fuck is this Kahn Dude attacking Trump? What's his angle?

donquixote99 08-02-2016 06:07 PM

Much more of this and I'll start to think he really is trying to throw the election.

Like, is wrestling fixed?

I wouldn't say noone wants the medal, it's just that noone wants to get killed or maimed, except for a few psychos perhaps.

There's the old "Million Dollar Wound", that's the one that's bad enough to get you sent home permanently from the war, but not bad enough to leave you with any permanent damage. The problem is that there is a narrow window. Too much one way and you spent a couple of weeks in the hospital and then get sent back into combat. Too much the other way and you end up with missing body parts or worse.

When I was in Nam there was a policy where if you got three purple hearts you got sent home from the war. Of course that wasn't an issue for me as an REMF but I heard stories about guys in the bush that would wait till charlie lobbed in a few mortars and take out their P-38 (that's a GI can opener) and cut a gash on their arm or leg (or if they were squeamish, have their buddy do it) and claim they got nicked by shrapnel and get a "cheap heart" as it was called, for it. Three of those and you got a ticket home.

Even though I voted for Kerry I always found the fact that he managed to get three of these "cheap hearts" in a little over four months for a ticket out of the war, as a little suspicious.

Like I said, I think it's still a remote possibility that hes a Clinton plant.

But if that's true, then think of the implications.

What does it say about the Clintons.?

donquixote99 08-02-2016 06:33 PM

Trump planning to fold does no necessarily mean he's a Clinton plant. It might be a weird Republican establishment plot to elect Kasich, or it might be lots of things.

My question was, what's Kahn's agenda?
