Wall Street had a good day

I just hope it keeps chugging along through November. ;)

Thanks Obummer. :D

It's just virtual wealth. I'll transfer my TSP wealth back into the market after the next crash.

Tri Sodium Phosphate?

I wonder what Wall Street is going to do today?

MrPots 11-09-2016 06:22 AM

Follow the nikkei?

merrylander 11-09-2016 09:13 AM

Apparently it dropped 700 points even as it opened.

Dow is up +165 @ 12:05PM Eastern. NASDAQ & S&Ps also holding solid. The Japanese shut their eyes to a new day and are paying for it.

BTW, the EUROZONE bourses (Italia excepted), after a rocky start, rallied. Hell, the DAX is up (nearly) 164 points. Don't seem to me that Big Finance be frightened, terrified, etc., by the prospect of a Trump administration. Methinks they're happy to (soon) see the backside of BO and not see the frontside of the Queen Of Chaos. Big Bizniss ain't always FOR war, y'know.

One suspects that Wall Street, possibly all Big Finance, smell massive deregulation in the air...

CarlV 11-09-2016 11:29 AM

Indeed, the veto pen is gone for deregulation, and also privatization.

Looks like the Trump Bump may be turning into the Trump Dump starting today, as Wall Street finally sees just how utterly incompetent the current administration is.

I hope not. Let's hope our Dear Leader wakes up and starts dealing with the reasonable moderates in both parties... assuming they're still willing to work with him.

Do you recommend "that acquiescence is the wisest course of action?"

It's the bank's FU to the small investor for not properly supporting their man.
