Bernie Sanders: Here’s what we want

A Sanders op ed in todays Washington Post. Sounds reasonable and not unlike the Democratic party line. Good for you, Bernie.

Now, endorse the winner and let's move on to the general election.

She's not the winner yet.

In your dreams, John.

ps Greg Palast's latest conspiracy ridden screed notwithstanding, California isn't going to magically switch over to Sanders in the vote count. Not that it would mean didley in regards to the delegate math if it did. ;)

Nevertheless, it isn't over until the convention. Guccifer 2.0 may have some more surprises.:D

I am somewhat surprised that you would find a hacker credible. If there is a lower life form I am unaware of it.

There are many lower life forms, not the least of which is corrupt politicians. The DNC has already acknowledged that the leaked info about the oppo research on Trump is legit. As for the collusion between the DNC and the Clinton campaign, they've offered up a big fat "No comment".

It's real Rob.

I'll tell you what Bernie's supporters want from Bernie.

We want him to run either Independent or cut a deal with the Greens to run on the top of their ticket, (Jill Stein can have the VP slot).

Bernie has an army (that would be us) at his command and we want him to use that army to drive a stake through the heart of the corrupt two party Duopoly.

We will not, repeat not, give any aid or comfort to Hillary.

Bernie should not commit till or after the convention, and also subject to the treatment that he receives at the convention. There is still a distinct possibility that Hillary may wake up with handcuffs.

Who put you in charge? You can speak all you want about your own lizard brained fantasies but you don't speak for Bernie's supporters and you certainly don't speak for me!

By giving Trump an easy win.

Just to Trump.

No problemo.

Let the record show that I speak for myself and myself alone.

You happy now?

Just finished watching his speech.

No bolt to a third party, but no concession or endorsement for Hillary either.

It shows Bernie's waning influence on the Democratic party moving forward.

Sorry if it bruises your delicate sensibilities.

donquixote99 06-23-2016 08:48 PM

I'm with rajoo this time. No substance to that thing that I can figure out.

Like, what was the headline 'shrewd move?'

Really not. Bernie lost to the system and Hillary won because of the system. Disappointed, yes because Bernie is a better person, candidate and I believe had broader support than Hillary, but it is what it is. After all politics is a dirty business.

And DonQ, thanks.

Pocahontas may have saved John Smith, but she's not going to be able to save Hillary.

merrylander 06-24-2016 05:16 AM

For a people who mainly stay home on election day y'all sure do an inordinate amount of bitching.

I doubt you'll find that any of the people you hear "bitching" will be staying home, Rob. And your penchant for making unflattering generalizations about America and Americans is past the point of becoming tiresome.

But Bernie will. ;)

Sanders says will vote for Hillary Clinton for president
Quote:

Asked if he would vote for Clinton in November, Sanders told MSNBC television: “Yes. The issue right here is I’m going to do everything I can to defeat Donald Trump. I think Trump in so many ways would be a disaster for this country if he were elected president.”

"We do not need a president whose cornerstone of his campaign is bigotry, who is insulting Mexicans and Latinos and Muslims and women, who does not believe in the reality of climate change," he continued.
Interesting that his vote is anti-Trump and not pro Hillary. Will his supporters swing over to her? I very much doubt it, not till after the convention. I am sure that the Clintonista's will call this a ground swell of support for Hillary.

A vote is a vote. The act of choosing one candidate over another is de jure and de facto a PRO vote.

I will take the de facto and topspin back to you the de jure (does not apply) and the screaming PRO (empty claim which is why you have to yell :)).

John I bring in more money each month to this country than I get from it. I figure that I am entitled to have some say or recommendation as to how it is spent.

If my posts get under your skin WTF do you bother reading them?
