Prediction: Trump Out/Ryan In

The Trump campaign is broke, down to a $1 Million in the bank and none coming in, his buddy Corey Lewandowski has been fired. Trump claims that he can and will self-fund his campaign like he did his primary, which is a farce. He 'loaned' this money to his campaign and now some donors are afraid that if they give him campaign funds, that may all go against paying off his loans, which amounts to paying himself back.

Trump apparently was looking for the RNC to raise money to fund his campaign and that has not worked out so far either. So Trump will be toast soon since in politics it's all about the money and Shrilly is $40 Million ahead now. Once she picks her VP nominee not named Elizabeth, that number could become $400 Million overnight just from the banks.

Again just a prediction. Wonder if the GOP will ban the media from attending their convention in Cleveland. :D

68custom 06-22-2016 02:11 PM

prediction; repubs will lose regardless...

mpholland 06-22-2016 05:43 PM

It is an interesting prediction, and maybe not far off. You can really see the difference in Trump and Bernie supporters here. If his people were really behind him, they would be prepared to finance him. Hard for rednecks to give up their beer and pizza money to support a billionaire.

Honestly, I think the GOP powerbrokers have resigned themselves to a loss in that a Trump victory would damage the party and their influence upon it more than a Hillary victory.

The fact that Trump is not being bribed by everybody in the world is a positive and one of the reasons he will win.

Lay off the hallucinogens, ZJ. Trump doesn't give a shit about the useful idiots who support him. It's all about his ego, dude.

Donald Trump. The ugly American candidate for the ugly American constituency.

Funny how anyone at all thinks he's a threat to Clinton. Remember when Joe Biden wiped the floor with him in the 2012 Veep debates.

I find her mostly benign. Trump, however, is a cancer on the body politic.

Nonsense. Trump is a breath of fresh air unless you want four more years of the Obama stagnation.

Yea I want someone with ZERO experience in politics running the most powerful country in the world! CEO experience is one of My Way or the Highway, not one of give and take.

BTW this President inability to govern rest squarely at the GOP's feet.

This President extended his hand in the failed attempt to meet halfway many times to have it slapped back. The GOP never wanted a single victory for him. Do you think for a minute the ACA was the bill he wanted? No it was the one he thought the GOP would support. But NOOOOO! The GOP shown their true colors by fighting every attempt by this President to govern. Just look to his appointment to the Supreme Court as the latest example.

The GOP created the TP and now it has come home to roost, to the country determent.

Fresh air is free but a campaign needs money which Trump ain't got nor are his prospects very good.

Donald Trump's Campaign Is Nearly Penniless
Quote:

Trump closed May with just $1.3 million cash on hand. That’s down from $2.4 million at the start of the month. The campaign raised just $5.6 million, even though the Trump campaign signed a major fundraising agreement with the Republican National Committee in the middle of the month, and spent $6.7 million. Hillary Clinton, by contrast, has $42.5 million on hand, up from $30.2 at the start of the month. She spent $14 million but raised $26.4 million. That doesn’t include bodies like Priorities USA, a super PAC that is backing Clinton and has $52 million. Pro-Trump super PACs are far behind.

He won't need it. Hillary has to have it. Luckily the Chinese, Saudi Arabia, etc. can wash it through the Clinton Foundation.

Actually I want two more wars of profit with hundreds of thousands dead, two trillions paid to the MIC lobbyists, and another economic meltdown with housing prices plummeting and 10% unemployment.......

Goooo republicans!

You understand of course that the "stagnation" to which you refer is called republican obstructionism everywhere else? The republicans are making sure there is no recovery on the democrats watch and they will continue to make sure the country suffers...because it's not about the people of this country,it's not about the health of this country, it's about forcing the republican "hate doctrine" on the public.

Speaking of housing, exactly what did the banks do other than loan people money to buy a home ?

The people who took out the loans decided not to pay and defaults skyrocketed . But, somehow in the mind of the lunatic left it was the banks fault for loaning them the money.

And, it was the government that was mandating that the banks make loans to questionable borrowers to start with.

Gotta love the mind of a lefty.

Reading the Donalds speeches in the paper this morning, they were so full of BS that I figured you guys here had been ghost writing them for him.:p

If you do crap underwriting you get bad debt. Doesn't take exactly 40 years in the banking business to figure that out. No one would do that unless they figured they could unload the debt quick. So, filthy dirty hands for the originator, and the debt is dirty from day 1. It became a toxic hot potato that one could make big money from, unless one became the holder who couldn't unload.

And all this sharp practice is the fault of Joe Schmoe who was bedazzled by a HOUSE with No Money Down and No Interest Until Later?

Gotta love how the criminal con artist mind works.

So, you are saying that stupidity and a type of character who would get a house a few months for free knowing he was not going to pay, or thinking he could flip it, get off scot free and it is the big banks.

Gotta love the lefty mind.

donquixote99 06-23-2016 11:36 AM

Dirty hands from day 1. Maybe on the buyer's part. Always on the loan originator's part.

Con artists always exploit the greed of the mark, and tell themselves the marks are the bad guys, that the greedy stupid marks deserve it.

And your sympathies are with the con artists. Criminal mind, like I said.

I don't have any sympathy for any of them, particularly the geniuses who insured the collateralized debt multiple times trying to get rich and lost their ass. AIG, in particular. Plenty of blame to go around.

But, in the end if the borrowers had simply paid what they signed a contract to pay there would have never been a great recession.

Why did the banks need a bailout from your man Dubya?
Gotta love the wingnut redirection, like 'Islamic Terrorism', which means let's blame Obama for ISIS. Fuck you and your ilk.

So as you imply then, it's OK for the banks to pull a con...and the folks who fall for it are the bad guys. Blame the victim.....

So, now somebody who gets a home loan is a victim.

I remember very well when people were victims because the banks wouldn't loan them any money.
