Sarah Palin - Modern Day Sacagawea

I was reading an article about Sista Sarah's upcoming reality show where she's gonna show us her Alaska. The article refers to her (snarkily) as a modern day Sacagawea.

Can you imagine that ditz having met up with Lewis and Clark on the frontier during their expedition and having been their best hope for survival? They would have been stopped dead in their tracks (or died laughing) and their journal would have been lost to history.

So that's the way it is, according to Lisa de Moronis.

I, for one, am damned impressed.

This gal, Lisa de Moraes, is a snarky entertainment writer for the Post. This ain't high journalism. I just thought the Sacagawea reference was funny - as a fan of Steven Ambrose's fine book "Undaunted Courage."

 snarky you say

Some might consider the lead "character" in the artical snarky as well.:D

(sorry Chas, couldn't help myself)

Isn't it bad enough that we stole their land? Now we insult one of their people.

As an American Indian, I'd say the author owes me a beer.

Widmer Breweries Broken Halo, please.

I thought you'd get a kick out of the Sacagawea reference.
