Trump bans WashPost from his events

Donald Trump said Monday that he is pulling The Washington Post’s credentials to cover his events because he is upset with the newspaper’s coverage of his campaign. The source of his ire is Post criticism of a speech in which Trump seemingly connects Obama to the Orlando shootings.

icenine 06-14-2016 09:12 AM

Trump's raison d'etre is hatred of a black president.

bobabode 06-14-2016 09:40 AM

The dude has bats in his belfry if he thinks he can win a war with the Post and Marty Baron.

Trump finally discovered that Washington Post has sworn their allegiance to Hillary? :D

This is SOP for the Republicans by demonizing the media and WaPo is an easy target for Trump. I don't think this will make any difference to his campaign.

nailer 06-14-2016 10:24 AM

Won't cost him a vote or add to Hillary's pile.

For those outside the Post's paywall, you get a good long quote here:http://www.outsidethebeltway.com/don...th-terrorists/

Trump has the best case of Obama Derangement Syndrome ever!

I wouldn't be so sure. This is Utah.

And has nothing to do with Trump's credential pulling threat.

Watching Triumph of the Will on youtube again.
Trump is a bumbling opportunistic boob compared to AH, it'll be incompetence rather than organization that worries if he's chosen.

How do you know? Trump is pulling it because the Washington Post is
calling him on his attacks on Obama's loyalty, which is based on Trump's distaste for Obama's not being white. Mormons find discrimination against religious minorities distasteful. Remember Trump is casting the President as un-American and on the "wrong side" of a "religious" war.

A rather recent development.

My gut feel is that this has more to do with Romney, his opposition to Trump's candidacy and his futile efforts to canvass an alternative to Trump. I still doubt very much if Hillary will win Utah.

On a technical point you are correct. But what caused the WAPo decision re Trump is not really a brand new theme from the candidate. That is why he didn't win Utah. Besides if just one WAPo reader from Utah changes his mind on Trump I would be correct. You might want to ditch the bold highlights on post quoting it is getting old.

I'll work on that.

How else do you explain birtherism?

Give me a rational answer citing Trumps birthersim, connecting Trumps rise with his most recent comments about Obama.
Fill the forum with your brilliance....

Was Obama born in Kenya Mike? Are you telling me you believe that? And if you don't how to explain all those people that do?

Trump's either a racist, or dumb enough to believe his own theory. Are you telling me that is not true?

You'll have to ask Trump about his beliefs. However, your reflexive assumption that he must be a racist is just as dishonest as you accuse "birthers" of being.

icenine 06-14-2016 03:12 PM

How is birthersim not racist?

icenine 06-14-2016 03:23 PM

I bet you had to google "raison d'etre" also........

The difference is Obama actually was born in the US and the birthers claim he wasn't.

While Cruz actually wasn't born in the US.

Oh shit!

What am I doing!

Whelly's brain can't process truth and logic.

1. If Ted Cruz had won the nomination most likely he would not have been disqualified.
2. Trump is espousing the idea that Obama was not born here because he thinks there was some sort of conspiracy hatched 50 years ago to bring an African here to the United States under false pretenses so that someday he could be President. I don't think Trump would pull this nonsense if Obama was white. Now do you think I am wrong on the birther issue? In other words Trump has always been de-legitimizing Obama by lying about him. Like McCarthy used to like about people being Communists.

Now Whell I want exposition of your defense of Trump, not denial or deflection.

Well, let's start by asking you to provide evidence that Trump ever stated that Obama's presidency was the result of some Manchurian - candidate style plot or conspiracy, as you posted above. As far as I know, he has never made such statements. So, please provide you premise with a foundation by providing citations for your assertion.

Guys, out-arguing whell is like out-boxing a trained, expereinced 13-year-old. Like, he's got some moves, but just a few, and it's never a contest.

You mean we will never, ever defeat Whell?

I have one victory over him: my Klipsch RB-5s. He will be jealous as I listen to them this evening pondering my victory today over him in Political Chat....;)

No, we always defeat him, but there's never any glory in it.

But you are right, the best victory is to live well.

You posted a link to a discussion of "birtherism". While Trump challenged Obama to provide his birth certificate, he's never advanced the conspiracy theories some have, as far as I know. You apparently have evidence to the contrary. Please post it.

You're right about the RB-5's. I do miss those speakers!

I console myself often with my Econowaves, however!
