Cruz's campaign is a sinking ship.

I'm mystified....

He's losing his ass, but he's the only one picking running mates as if he's got the nomination.

This tells me it's already been decided.

The only thing that was decided is that, since Cruz racked up a bunch of losses on Tuesday, he needed to generate some press.

Carly is nearly as snotty and obnoxious as Cruz himself. A fine match indeed.

Carly has lots and lots of money.

If the convention turns into a free-for-all after a failed first round vote, Cruz needs some heavy artillery immediately to broker more votes. Carly could deliver here in spades in back door deals.

Plus she will go part ways in negating Hill's "I'm the first woman" appeal, although this would be an example of a butcher holding a ten pound roast while being sandwiched between a pit bull and a Doberman. Both ladies want the White House so bad they would climb the fence to get in.

I am amazed that Trump has not made a snide remark on Cruz's selection of Fearina.

In the comment section for an article about this on Salon someone had what I believe is an interesting hypothesis about Cruz's seemingly-bizarre choice. Basically, she's going to act as static bait for Trump's misogynistic outbursts.

Personally, I think it almost makes it appear that Cruz doesn't really want to win, as he could hardly have picked a bigger piece of trash than Fiorina.
