It'll be a lot harder simply because of the sheer number of women whom Cosby is alleged to have raped.

Of course OJ and Cosby have similar financial resources, but lots of guys with money get caught and go away for rape. Johnnie Cochran knew right away that OJ was going to skate when he expressed his pleasure to the rest of the legal team that their would be no change of venue and that they "got a downtown jury." There was a lot of stuff at play in the OJ case, it was a murder case, and the victim was the accused's wife.

And...this is a touchy subject...there was the considerable hostility from black women in America toward white women who were grabbing off so many black men who had "made it" financially. For some reason that hostility never seemed directed at the black men as it was at the white women.

When did this become about race?

This isn't about the white women dating black men. In fact.... It's not about dating at all.

This is about rape and sexual assault.

I don't know what ethnic background all of his alleged victims are ..... But I suspect they were chosen for their vulnerability rather than their race.

But...I didn't bring up OJ, you brought up OJ. And the OJ case was all about race. The killing of Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman was not about race, just like Cosby's predatory behavior was not about race. But Cochran's OJ trial venue strategy was all about race. Cochran's primary strategy was to keep the trial in downtown LA. He got his jury and his verdict. And the celebrations of the acquittal in the black community...nah that wasn't about race.
