I agree- gossip and lies are poor ways to select a President. I would suggest that forwarding useless and tired stereotypes about one party or another would be similarly poor tools and that is the point I was trying to make.

As you say about Mr. Churchill, "enough radicals". Since you made the implication (or, rather, the "humorous" post your forwarded) that the "liberals" are not in favor of protecting freedom of speach I thought I would point out that the first freedom of speech case I could think of was conservatives trying to silence a liberal. Not sure I disagree with them either.

Your right Eddie. Remember...this is just an opinion site here. I have never voted straight party ticket. In the end...whatever happens in the booth is your secret.
I do find some things hilarious. Most of the people here have BRAINS and ideas I enjoy. But...I'm seventy years old and find life itself interesting. It's not the 50's anymore. Keep smiling! :D
