Arctic Blast

Old man winter has been cruel so far this year in Georgia. We have been
below freezing for over a week now with another blast coming in tonight
with temps in the low teens. Normal high is around 53. Once we had freezing
temps for near a week in about 1985 but this stretch should shatter all
records. We had about an inch of snow and ice on the roads this morning.
Pipes are freezing in some new houses, swimming pools are busting and all
the stores are sold out of pipe fittings, heaters, insulation ect...
