I thought Outland was a good Connery flick.

I was kind of surprised that they still use cheap lawn chairs in the future, and those Remington 1100 ray gun conversions were interesting as well.

More from the Netflix trial: Time Bandits and three episodes of a Showtime series - The Tudors - more of a soap opera than an historical drama, but my wife has a thing for films on the British Monarchy. Enough skin in it to keep me interested.

D-Ray

The Pianist: ADRIEN BRODY

Saw this several times and still get emotionally involved:

Near the end the pianist is coming out of hiding to liberating troops, but he
forgets he is wearing the uniform coat of a German officer.

Every time at that juncture I shout loudly at the TV trying to warn/inform the
Pianist that he is still wearing a German coat.

Excellent movie directed by the awful Roman Polanski.

Tudors was an interesting series and pretty brutal but then so was the life and times of the House of Tudor.

Just finished Life On Mars Season 1 and 2

Pretty good the main character however is out shined by his boss, DCI Gene Hunt

The UK short episode tv series model (this series only had 16 total episodes) is really a nice format

there was this pretty cool looking Ford GXL (Cortina TC Mark III) car that reminded me of a Mustang II

Watched 'Hitlers' Children', it's on Netflix. Very moving and interesting. For example, Goerings' kids sterilized themselves to end the Goering line.

The Butler, a new one with the great Forrest Whitaker and that gal from The Color Purple. This one looks to be a good 'un.

BBC mini series costume drama set in 1842...only 6 episodes but it is really fine! And humorus

One of the characters is the guy that plays the head Butler in Downton Abbey
