If you look at the balance of Governors, state legislatures, and the federal government the Republican Party is the strongest it has been since the 1920's.

The Democratic Party is on the verge of becoming a regional party of New York, and the west coast.

Might be time for retrospect rather than saying the same things over and over and expecting something different.

Maybe they'll just go to their safe place and get in touch with their inner child?

Once the shock and awe wears off a bit. The Democrats just need to be patient, sit back and let the GOP and President T overreach, push the envelope. That will be enough to propel them back.

It is up to the economy. If it stays like it is with moderate growth and Trump does not act like candidate Trump he might ride out a term. The sign to watch for is whether he pulls a stunt like trying to go after Hillary with a special prosecutor. That would be an early sign that disaster is coming.

The ACA is the litmus test that the wrecking ball might be held in suspension.

However having his adult kids, all billionaires in waiting, in such prominent roles around him and seeming to follow him into the White House does not all portend well. Putting them in charge of his "blind" trust has the stench of nepotism.

Sanders will probably be too old; Al Franken or Michelle Obama. Warren would be great also. A lot depends on the economy under Trump. He could be a sort of evil vacuous Calvin Coolidge while better employment makes voters not care about his morality.

The future is unwritten: Know Your Rights.

'Democrat Party' is a long-standing little Republican insult, getting the name wrong on purpose.

Oh is that it, I thought it was merely the result of poor education.

I just prefer being grammatically correct. When Dems start referring to themselves as "Democratics", then "Democratic" Party will become grammatically correct.
