What would be nice is if both chambers and both parties elected new leaders, the old ones are carrying to much baggage. If the GOP is smarrt they will also renounce Super Grover and Rove.

I think it is not what you say but how you say things sometimes that make a difference. He was tone deaf to how America is changing demographically and socially. It was not the term self-deportation but the manner in which he said it that was really so negative.

I thought so too. I recall thinking it was about time.

Of course they've been witholding. Some on the right wing radio were encouraging them to continue this morning. "...we still have the 2014 midterms to win...."

To me, that is just shameful. Shameful and sickening that they would hold the American worker....hell, the AMERICAN PEOPLE at financial gun point to force votes (Among other things.) out of them. And, I can't for the life of me understand why more don't see that that is precisely what they are doing. "No jobs until I get my tax cut!!!"

I'm hoping that yesterdays outcome demonstrates that more of us have.

Regards,
Dave

Nothing like a good old-fashioned beat down at the polls to clear one's mind.

And, for contrast;

More language that sounds kinda like an olive branch..........but, not really, if you think about it.

But, then, I'd imagine Ol' Mitchs buttocks are on fire right now............."....one term president." and all that.

Dave

Problem is that Boehner said that that if Obama would move to the center, they would meet him there, but Obama has already been in the center for four years.

He's running for reelection in 2 years and is fearful of being primaried by a Teabagger. He's therefore unable to offer any conciliatory gestures.

McConnell is a worthless POS, just like his Dem counterpart in the Senate, Reid.

But McConnell now swears that Obama will be limited to being a two term President.

I didn't get past,"We want you to lead, Mr. President." You do realize that crap is simply a mugger pointing a gun at you and demanding your wallet, don't you? Boner is simply saying his same old schtick and he can go and stick it where the sun don't shine. Just wait for the mid terms Whell because we progressive Democrats are coming for the rest of those tratorous malfeasers who have been holding the economy and jobs hostage to their peculiar brand of conservatism.
