Will be watching The Philadelphia Story on the big screen tomorrow. We've really been enjoying these classic films, shown how they were meant to be seen, from recliners, to boot. Hepburn, Grant and Stewart. Can't go wrong.

Vertigo on the big screen yesterday. 60th anniversary of Hitchcock’s personal favorite. Always great seeing these classics on the big screen, as they were intended to be seen.

Saw Sunset Boulevard (Sunset Blvd) on the big screen yesterday. One of my faves, and I got a better look at the fabulous 1929 Isotta Fraschini 8A Sedanca deVille.

That is really cool that you're able to find a cinema playing the oldies, Steve. You'ld think it would be easy to find theatres doing that in So Cal but when they do, they're sold out far in advance. Oh, well.

Discovered that the excellent 1986 BBC series The Singing Detective is on YouTube. I remember it fondly from when it originally aired on my local PBS station. A true masterpiece, starring Michael Gambon. Well worth searching for.
The movie version (Robert Downey Jr) is a pale imitation, not worth the time.
