Trump Disgraces America Every Day

Today's example: Steven Bradbury, the "torture memos" man, appears before a Senate committee--because Trump has nominated him for a high position.

Cases like this make an excellent moral litmus test--and a bad show to the civilized world....

Actually, the Dem level of insanity and willingness to deflect and obstruct grows every day, and their selective indignation knows no bounds. This is the same "torture" that Dems had no issues with in 2002.

Four top members of Congress, including now-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, got a close look at CIA overseas detention sites and interrogation techniques in September 2002 and offered no challenge to their legitimacy, according to a news article out Sunday.

On the contrary, at least two lawmakers involved in the briefing that day questioned whether the CIA was pushing hard enough, even after hearing the details of the now widely criticized technique known as waterboarding, two U.S. officials told The Washington Post.

"The briefer was specifically asked if the methods were tough enough," one official is quoted saying.

With one known exception, no formal objections were raised by the lawmakers briefed about the harsh methods during the two years in which waterboarding was employed, from 2002 to 2003, said Democrats and Republicans with direct knowledge of the matter. The lawmakers who held oversight roles during the period included Pelosi and Rep. Jane Harman (D-Calif.) and Sens. Bob Graham (D-Fla.) and John D. Rockefeller IV (D-W.Va.), as well as Rep. Porter J. Goss (R-Fla.) and Sen. Pat Roberts (R-Kan).

Well, I agree with you, but I believe that when you realize you have taken the wrong fork in the road, backwards is the correct direction to go. You can then meet up with the fork and go forward in the right direction.

That's what Trump is doing. Undoing everything Obama did that he can, and getting us back on the right path. That is a good thing.

Of course, Opinions vary.

Obama advanced Iran's nuclear program, sent BILLIONS of jobs to the far east and used American tax dollars to fund the construction of the Wuhan lab that produced the virus which shut the American economy down. Obama created an economy of record highest food stamp and welfare use in the history of America.

And President Trump reversed all that, bringing those jobs back, putting Iran back in the cage and sending the world the message that America is going to be America first. And he was impeached for taking us forward.

He will be impeached again for leading a treasonous insurrection against the sitting government. Really, really bad dude.

He can and will be impeached after he is kicked out of the Oval on Jan 20th. He will NEVER be able to run for president again. He and his crime family will lose their Secret Service protection. He will lose his pension, his medical, all the perks of being a former president. Hopefully, all of his pardons will be invalidated, as he is a rogue president*. He will be tried and convicted for his MANY, MANY crimes. He will serve hard time.

Wake up, bucko. You and your team of morons are LOSERS. Get over it.

Okay, today's second example (I'm afraid there's no actual limit to the number of daily examples).

Today Trump left 'petty and vindictive' behind, far behind....

Reaction from right and left has been dismay and condemnation:

Senator Lindsey Graham, Republican of South Carolina, wrote on Twitter, “Mr. President, your tweet was beneath the office and represents what is wrong with American politics, not the greatness of America.”
I will choke before I can call him Mr. President.

And a spokesman for NBC News, Mark Kornblau, wrote on Twitter: “Never imagined a day when I would think to myself, ‘It is beneath my dignity to respond to the President of the United States.’ ”
Operative words, beneath my dignity says it all for me.
