I always look at the cartridge on TT's. Back when TT were being phased out good deals on carts were made. I have found some nice carts on pretty cheap TT's.

Discretion is the better part of valor, so I'm told . You need to trick her into thinking it's her idea to get you those big blue meters Robbin. Try flowers and expensive jewelry...

well I have to break into the bank to pay my taxes again (next year should be better since I am really withholding so much I cannot get the 6.1s lol)...I may get a bit extra to cover a Mac lol....why not I am over 50 I should enjoy it while I can...

lol flowers and jewelry but then she will get mad when I tell her how much I paid for it...but maybe deep down she wants some..perhaps most wives are like that. She does put up with all my cassette decks and speakers lol....

Yeah, I remember buying an AT 440ML brand new for like, $85. Just a year prior, I think they went for close to $300.

Never did like the sound, though. Too bright for my taste.

That cartridge benefits from a adjustable capacitance. Around 100pF on the HK-T40 works the best I have found.

Sanus HT20 speaker stands. New in the box black anodized steel for "medium" sized speakers. Don't know the name, don't know anything about them. The model isn't listed on the website anymore and I can't find any reference to them via Google. But they look like they're good quality. Looks like they would work great with the Smaller Advents, or even the Totem Mani-2's.

7 bucks at the Goodwill.
