Looking At The House Votes Through A National Lens

During this election, even though the Republicans retained control of the House, Democrats received about 550,000 more votes than did Republicans in all House races combined. There were also pretty anomalous results in some states where the President won, Democrats won the Senate races but the Republicans won a majority of House seats. I have to think that, had the Republicans been less successful in gerrymandering their Congressional Districts we'd see a very different composition in the HoR.

Ezra Klein's take on re-districting gerrymandering. The Dems need to, "Wake the f**k up!" In the immortal words of Samuel L. Jackson. The composition of the house during next census/re-districting needs to be strategically targeted. The opposition has been forward thinking whereas the Dems have been lagging. My take & dos centavos. YMMV.

Three California house seats are still up in the air. Looking good for the Dems. Seeing Dan Lungren retired would warm the cockles on my heart.

It would. Propositions came out pretty good, too bad the Frankenfood and sugar soda lost.
But then so did the Koch Bros.
