Pretty cool 70s Scheibenuhr, as we call such watches in Germany, because of the built in three discs. Scheibe = disc, Uhr = watch.

I've seen quite a few of them, they were the digital watches before quartz electronic digital watches.

Picked up a Technics SA 180. Nothing special, but it sounded fine after I cleaned it up and gave the sliders a deoxit bath. It will work just fine to set up a turntable in my wife's sewing room.

I found one at Saver's yesterday for $169...I had a 30% off coupon so it was $128. One of 500 made. It is rare Seiko Kinetic Chronograph with a 9T82 movement. You can see it over in AK on the old latest score thread.

The watch keeps great time if you wear it but won't hold a charge long.
Most likely needs a new capacitor since the original Kinetic capacitors tend to die after 10-15 years. The Kinetic is a hybrid automatic-quartz movement.

This watch is great!

By the way - I payed 160 Euros for the Jump Hour. Probably not a score, but I wanted this watch so bad, so 160 Euros are okay for me.

I like that watch very much and, judging by the prices I'm seeing for Primatos on eBay, 160 euro doesn't look like a bad deal.

Why not.

One only lives once. They have those over here in pawn shops...that type of watch. There is a fairly recent Nixon watch like that.

Well I guess it does not have three disks like yours though.

I am glad I found my watch because of this Japanese web page...lol.

I hope mine is not a replica but I don't think there would be a big market for this as a fake watch.
