I made a comment about land speculation in the Detroit area and their having a ball with it, because I (foolishly) used the term "Wolves". Actually, what I think they're are doing makes sense. It's so cheap, they really have little to lose. The properties are already abandoned and dilapidated, nobody is being put out, so who cares?

DJ mentioned it first and he's right. If I lived closer, I'd consider it myself.

I don't know if you could give it to me.

First you have to clear it, then mow it, and pay taxes on it. If you tried to build on it, your materials would be stolen as fast as they were delivered.

Reminds me of free advice...it's generally worth what it costs. In this instance I'd rather have free advice, it doesn't come with responsibility.
